Phil, people said after some of his overtaking moves (mainly the one on Kimi at Monza)last season that he wouldn't be doing it again this year. Proved all those nay-sayers wrong didn't he?
What's wrong with being aggressive, didn't do a certain Ayrton Senna or Micheal Schumacher any harm, did it? How does that saying go? If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen, Robert!

Another thing,a lot of people say that Hamilton has only the same record as Villenueve, i.e. winning the championship in his second year. Villenueve was a very talented racer who didn't apply himself unless he was at one with the car (sound familiar?).His downturn coincided with the end of William's dominance and that '98 Meccachrome motor was no match for the ealier Renault units upon which they were based, let alone the Ferrari and Mercedes units in the competition.Ferrari and McLaren also adapted to the new 'narrow car' regs so much better too. After '98 he stood no chance as he didn't have the team builing or setup skills of Schumacher/Ferrari when he and Craig Pollock started BAR

Well said Andy, never more a true word spoken. Engine Rule, can you please tell me which qualifying session Hamilton blocked Alonso in?

OK, this may be going a little off topic, but in an ideal world who would you like to see where? Here's my thoughts: McLaren - Hamilton & Vettel Ferrari - Massa & Raikkonen BMW - Kubica & Glock Renault - Alonso & Bordais Toyota - Trulli & Rosberg STR - Senna & Kovalainen Red Bull - Webber & Heidfeld Williams - Nakajima & Piquet Honda - Button & Barichello Force India - Fisichella & Liuzzi I tell you what, it's not as easy as you think!! Discuss!!!!

And his Father had the grace to congratulate and commiserate Felipe and Luis Massa on the great season's racing between them and the Hamiltons

The only fanboys AK are the ones coming up with conspiracy theories about Glock's tyres and how he let Hamilton past to win the Championship!. He WAS on dry tyres, that's plain to see. The water on the track wouldn't dry in 4 or 5 laps, would it?

I never had access to a multi-screen broadcast like you rich ard, all I saw was the Ferrari pits and the Interlagos crowd celebrating Massa's championship before the end of the race (shown by the change in attitude when it became apparent Hamilton got the 5th place he needed), so what other pit garages were showing 'a lack of enthusiam' towards Hamilton's win? Sorry 'my' driver won and I decided to go agressive with my posts celebrating Hamilton's win, but had he lost, the 'Glock's in McLaren's pocket' crowd would have been saying similar things about Hamilton 'choking' again.

No, rich ard, not having a go at other posters, just Fernando Alfonso. I can only take so much crap before I felt I had to retort, but he's being calling me and everyone who either wanted Hamilton to win or had the temerity to disagree with him a retard. I know you can't look at his past posts as he's unregistered, but if you could you'd see there's not a lot of constructive comment posted by him. The reason I mentioned yourself was because all year long you've been posting anti McLaren and anti Hamilton comments, but it's a free world, say what you like! The stuff you posted about checking Glock's telemetry was nothing short of clutching at straws.

No remiczek21, it was Alonso he passed. But in that instance Fernando just let him past, didn't try and 'race' him because afterall, he was leading under no pressure, not like Lewis and Seb who were going at it hammer and tongs! So Robert Kubica deserved the Championship more than Lewis and Felipe, did he? He'd have deserved it more if he'd won a race off his own back like Vettel did at Monza, not a Hamilton brain-fart! I really do like Kubica though, and given the right car could do great things.
