F1 » Pirelli sets greater overtaking goal for 2013

Too many times in 2012 we did NOT get to see real racing because of the tires. Drivers were conserving tires instead of racing and other drivers who did try to race their hearts out were practically penalized by having to pit because the tires wore out. So apparently someone likes that kind of racing and so Pirelli are going to change their tires so that we see even more race outcomes dictated by the tires instead of the best car or driver?

F1 » Neale: US return 'a breakthrough – but F1 must do it right this time

I agree with California Kid....I have been to an F1 race at Indianapolis and I went to my first IndyCar race last month in Birmingham, AL and I have to say the weekend with IndyCar was much better than what F1 puts on. It was awesome to be able to walk around in the paddock while the cars were being worked on 6 feet from me and to get drivers autographs when they exit their trailers and such. It was a much more up close and personal experience with IndyCar than F1. There was much more happening on track as well during the weekend. The tickets were MUCH more economical too. Even with my paddock pass, the price was still less than a regular general admission F1 ticket.
