MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director talks Rossi, Marquez incident

Tony2: Dude, first off, trying to pre-empt rebuttals to your post by signing off with "cue hate" is just sad. Rossi is out of bounds because MM pushed him there - the video and pics all show that. Rossi is ahead, fully into the line (leant over etc) MM barges inside hot (it's clear MM is not even on his knee yet) and has no chance at all to hold his line so he pushes VR off the line and across the berms. VR has to go straight across because it's gravel. You ever try to turn a race bike on gravel? It doesn't end well. And oh, by the way where did MM go after he bumped Rossi? Pushing another racer off the line from the inside is not a legal pass. If VR had crashed it would have been MM's fault. "No advantage" doesn't mean no time advantage it means no race advantage, i.e. no positions gained or lost. It makes no difference if VR won by .100 or 1.2 seconds. MM will never become a younger Rossi. Rossi is a great talent for sure but there are other riders with great tal

MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director talks Rossi, Marquez incident

What a race ! The only thing that spoiled it was Marquez not manning up and admit he was wrong . He would of got a lot more respect from the vast majority of people . also i am sure race direction would not of taken any action against him for admitting he got it wrong . Instead he claims it was his corner because he was on the inside . And to anyone who agrees with this claim by Marquez ! Been on the inside doesn't make the corner yours . But been in front sure as hell does . The fact of the matter is Rossi read him perfectly and made sure he was ready for it . That's what 20 years of GP racing gives you. Man up Marquez and you will be respected a lot more . Another thing some people should think about is what would of happened if it was a young rider instead of Rossi . Both riders could of ended up in the back of an ambulance . Think about that scenario ! But yes a great race ! I was a nervous wreck .

When you get off the Kool-Aid and the VR sunglasses, maybe read some rules about who has to give way when the attacker crosses the halfway mark of the defenders bike at the apex yeah? If MM hadn't reached past the halfway mark, explain the rubber marks on Rossi's elbow then? When the rider has taken the inside line and has gone past the halfway mark, the defender must give way and that is the general rule of track racing.
Which joke book did you get this information from . You had better pass it on to Race Direction all over the world .

The joke book you fans forgot to read. The FIM's rulebook 20.3, 20.4, 20.5. If only you "fans of the sport" even knew the rules it would have been great.
Oh yeah ! Well i suggest you watch BSB and then inform all the riders and teams and organisers . Oh and race Directors about this rules then .

F1 » Hamilton 'always felt in control' of 'historic' victory

It would seem that a lot of people on here either havn't followed F1 for long or have forgotten that Hamilton was winning races when drivers had to actually race .As for the Canadian GP it seems like some people were totally unaware of what was actually happening in the race . As most people know these new F1 cars cannot be run nose to tail for long periods of time without the following car been adversely affected . So to those people i will repeat what has been said numerous times. Hamilton did as much as he needed to If Rosberg attacked he let him get as close as he wants him to get then controls the gap till close to end of race then puts the Hammer down at the end to put Rosberg back in his box. Yes even with these cars you can overtake but you need to be better than Rosberg to beat Hamilton . At least in a straight race anyway.

WSBK » Sykes wants bike that lets him challenge at race end

I really cannot see that Tom can claim to be compromised by his bike set up . It should be Jonny Rea that has any grounds for complaint or excuses .The truth of the matter is that Tom was losing his grip last season and has simply carried on in the same vein really . Fair play though ! When he got the chance with a very competitive Kawasaki he took it . Now everyone has caught up and are passing him . Jonny Rea would of done the same thing if he had got on the Kawasaki last year . I say well done Jonny Rea for not hanging around any longer for Honda to properly reward his loyalty . Apart from Marquez i dont think there is anyone in Moto GP riding a Honda that is better than Rea . Honda just used him to keep them alive in Superbikes . Anyway this is about Sykes so i will clear off now .

F1 » Warwick: Hamilton must be thinking, 'What have I done!'

It seems like there are a lot of people on here who have selective memory . But no problem this time next year they won't have to rely on their memory . Lewis will win races next year . I expect the same people who made derogatory remarks when i said Lewis will sign for Mercedes will be doing the same again . There was no sign of them saying they were wrong and i guess there will be no sign of the predictors of failure . But that's usually how it is . Quick to judge and condemn but not a sound when proved wrong .

MotoGP » PBM confirms riders, machines for MotoGP 2013

Well isn't that amazing CRASH!!!. You allowed a comment made by N making derogatory remarks about Laverty then when i posted a perfectly acceptable condemnation of his post you pulled mine and his . I didn't swear no name calling so explain " WHY " . EDIT by CRASH.NET! Because you repeated the offending remark, making your post out of context.

WSBK » Haslam getting to grips with Honda

@scruffy Thank you man for putting a bit of sense to all this . It seems there are a lot of people who don't understand how a team work . Listen up people just because one rider is testing something different to his team mate it does not always mean one is been favoured over the other . Ten Kate are not that type of team .As for the headlights that was a decision made by the powers that be to let the uneducated know that these are SUPPOSED to be production base bikes . Maybe they were for the benefit of the factories who tune the engines so much that they can only do one race .
