WSBK » BMW restructures, slims to one team for 2013

@Myke Is that suposed to be a personel comment aimed at me or a general comment in the context of WSB and Motorcycle racing. Myself Motorcycles have taken my attention for the last 57 years and i am not swayed by which companies logo it carries. I go back to guys like Derek Minter etc. So i don't regard myself as what some people call a fanboy i have many riders i admire and some riders i think could conduct themselves better on the track. Thats all i will say in reply to your post i have said all i feel needs saying. Hope we have some good racing this weekend.

MotoGP » Answering back on track

How lacking in knowledge can some people get . Bradley Smith has finished 2nd in the 125cc World Championship . He was also signed by Tech3 to ride in MotoGP proper not in CRT as someone has indicated. There has been enough said about it in the media with riders contracts coming to an end . In the words of a very famous motorsport " Unless i am very much mistaken " .

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi, Marlboro and Yamaha

People can knock Rossi as much as they like but you only have to look at how much reaction articles about him generates to see what his standing is in the sport. Why the hell would any major brand want their colours on Rossi's bike is simple.Column inches and pictures in the media. Certainly in bike sport there is no one that comes close. And in sport in general there are not many that generate more.

MotoGP » Petrucci makes Ducati MotoGP debut

@billywiz Hey tell it like it is man . That's certainly how it seems to come across to me . On the Rossi thing again i wonder if some of the people who claim Rossi is not performing actually bother to follow the details of a race weekend. Take the last race at Mugello where Rossi never actually put in a qualifying time with a soft tyre. He has said on many occasions that he concentrates on setting the bike up to work on the hard tyre so that he knows he will have a tyre left at the end of the race. That is why time and time again he catches up with Hayden and passes him in the race . Hayden on the other hand concentrates on getting a fast lap and a good position in Qualifying but always suffers after half distance. Its not just me saying it the facts are there to see. @Vilas You make some really good point in your posts if only some people would take a moment to understand what you are saying.

MotoGP » Lorenzo to Ben Spies: Stay calm and focused

@Talentfan Yes very true the points you make about Dovi and his relationship with Tech3 . From what i gather though from MCN Dovi is off to the BMW WSB team to join up with Melandri in an all Italian team. Apparently he has said he wants to fight for a champioship and he doesn't care if it's Moto GP or WSB as long as it's a world championship. Apparently both he and Hayden are on they're way out of Moto GP to WSB. And that would really open things up in moto GP.

MotoGP » Lorenzo to Ben Spies: Stay calm and focused

I wonder if anyone remember a certain James Toesland going through a similar spell. Even though he wasn't in the factory team he still got much more abuse etc than Ben Spies is getting now. Infact i remember some of the really abusive remarks from certain corners This should serve to show pople that these guys are only human and although i am not claiming that it is the case with Ben we need to keep in mind that these guys can suffer loss of confidence . As with the rest of us if you keep getting kicked when you're down you try harder to get back then things escalate. I am not saying i have the answers regarding Ben or any other rider just that we need to be less quick to pass judgement. I hope he can turn it round and keep his ride .

WSBK » BMW restructures, slims to one team for 2013

I didn't quite see this coming . But i thought there would be some big changes at the end of the season. I almost posted after the last race that Haslam will be riding for Alstare if they return next season. But as someone suggested on here Kawasaki is a big possibility . I couldn't understand why Haslam all of a sudden couldn't ride the BMW quick. And Melandri was kicking his **** . Well now its all crystal clear.Again like others have stated this is a typical BMW move. I'm not a Biaggi fan but i will be hoping he takes the title and denies Melandri. Some might call my comments sour grapes but it stinks at BMW.
