Button must want his head reading. Moving from the team that's about to get full Merc factory support back to a customer team, hardly a step forward is it? All because the won't pay him a few extra million THEY'VE JUST MADE YOU F1 WORLD CHAMPION, SUNSHINE! A lot of good drivers never had the chances you had, or the poor sods died before they could show what they could do! Whatever happened to humility and gratitude.

Why are people arguing about this? Surely it's simple - if you can't play by the rules, don't play at all. Driver, mechanic, team owner, sponsor, car manufacturer, doesn't matter who you are. If you cheat you should be banned. Maybe not for life, but for a meaningful period. If you can't abide by the rules, go and play somewhere else. I have no great love for the FIA, but everyone who signs up knows exactly what they're getting into. Hard luck, Flav, Nelson etc, but you all brought it on yourselves.
