F1's always been about a combination of having the best car and driver skill. Barichello's a multiple GP winner and might (?) have had a shot at a title or two were he not playing number two to Schumi for years. Button's been unlucky with the cars he's had, but he's taking the opportunity now he's got it - in my opinion, they're both great drivers, as is Alonso and look how he's going now his car's not so good.

And would he care to explain Red Bull? No diffuser there and they're kicking his **** all over. This year's Renault is a dog - less moaning and more engineering your way to a good car sounds like a good use of time to me...

Firstly, thanks to Belinda for coming on and stating the BBC's case. I appreciate the need for 'simpler' commentary - striking a balance between pleasing existing fans and attracting new ones is undoubtedly a difficult one: I don't see the comparison with Match of the Day as a relevant one though, since, like it or not, bike racing is a minority sport when considered next to football - the majority of the population have an understanding of football in the way that they don't of bikes. The BBC need to inform, educate and entertain then, new and existing viewers - Matt Roberts I like, Steve and Suzi are OK, but I don't see how Charlie Cox helps meet the remit.
