F1 » Arrivabene: Kimi is always complaining!

RoyO: For some years now I've been baffled by Raikkonen-worship. His performance falls so far short of impressive that it's amazing Ferrari have retained him other than in the role of a placeholder no. 2 pending someone with potential becoming available. In his first year Vettel has already trounced him comprehensively. Raikkonen's impolite, monosyllabic, grunting seems to amuse some fans but it's just simple incivility. This oaf gets paid a fortune and yet resents the minimal level of PR that's required of someone in his privileged position. The precise term for this is "boorishness". If he was a consistently brilliant driver - or even funny - it might be reasonable to cut him some slack, but he's a sullen has-been and the sooner he's replaced the better. Sounds like Arrivabene has his number.
I've been a Kimi fan for years, but recently less so as he doesn't seem to have the drive/purpose to be at the front. I started following him back in his Mclaren day

It seems Crash cut-off the second half of my post somehow..... I've been a Kimi fan for years, but recently less so as he doesn't seem to have the drive/purpose to be at the front. I started following him back in his Mclaren days when he'd routinely slice his way through the field from the back and win or get on the podium. The funny stuff like going to a houseboat to party after DNF'ing in Monaco (while the race was still ongoing) was always funny too.

NASCAR » Gordon becomes 13th man in the Chase

It's great they caught the guys cheating and they deserve the punishment, but it does seem a little hypocritical. I know I'm not the only one who views Nascar's phantom yellow's for "debris" as rather suspicious. They often seem to conveniently setup exciting finishes or fixing a runaway race. That all said, I haven't watched a Nascar race, outside the odd road course race and the Daytona 500, for the last several years.
