Looks like Nicky almost caught Pedrosa at the end. Pedrosa must have been hurt after that collision, he dropped back a lot. Good race mid pack, just not exciting at the front.

I hope they do come over. The AMA is a joke this year. In a blatent move to try and make the Buells not look like junk (they are), the AMA decided to let the 1125cc buell twin compete against the 600cc i4's. So you say well thats fine, twins need more cc's to be competitive. So why are Ducati and other non-buell twins only allowed 800cc? It is so much a joke in AMA this year. I've been making the 6 hour drive to goto the Mid-Ohio round every year, but not this year. I'll probably make the 2 day drive to see WSBK at Miller instead.

Well it's pretty clear that the 08 cars are a good deal quicker then the 09 cars. I think they've been topping each test so far. Good to see Broudais back in the car.

I hope they do agree to race in 09. Hopefully by the end of the season, the econonmy might be a bit better, or costs will be down, and they will stick in for 10/11

slowjoe, I remember several races in the last couple years where spies rode through the pack to claim 2nd or even win. I think he'll do ok in a pack. It will be a bit of an adjustment to not have the quickest bike out there though.

boolboo, true, however the 2008 bike was no where near as competitive as the 2007 bike. The 2007 was good, for 2008 they just kept the same bike. everyone else stepped up a notch, Kawi stayed the same. Hence they dropped down the order.

Looks like Ducati has a bit of work to do, all their riders near the bottom. Nicky is at the quicker end of the Ducatis, which is good to see.

If glock had come in for tires he'd have been behind Hamilton already and there would have been no drama. So, the whole thing is a non-issue. Either way, Hamilton would have won the championship.
