MotoGP » Melandri 'bitter, 'worried' Gresini calls for Honda help

DDD, I agree that much of Honda's problems are a lack of a good development rider, or not listening to anyone but Pedrosa. Nicky seems to be a good development rider,he developed the 2006 bike that tested a lot of ideas for the 2007 800cc, and the Ducati has become much more ridable since he joined. I also agree with Chris, the quicker Honda's are the two guys (and their mechanics) who are used to Ohlins. The others should catch up soon, but the limited testing sure hurts.

WSBK » Kyalami to leave WSBK calendar

Mikel, I'd love to see a race in Canada, but we have no suitable track. Mosport is a great track, but needs a lot of money to do safety upgrades, facility upgrades, and the like. Mont Tremblant I don't think would quite cut it, it's a bit small. Other then that, I don't think we have any road courses anywhere near good enough for WSBK. There are a couple projects in the works, but I believe they are all a couple years away.

F1 » Montreal back on F1 calendar as Canada re-instated

Mosport would need a lot of work to get upto F1 spec. I do some track days there occasionally on my Kawi, and it's fine for club racing, but not for a world class event. The Canadian superbike series races there, and I'd say it's one of the best tracks they race at, but that is not saying much if you've seen some of the parking lots they go to. Mont Tremblant is too narrow for F1 I believe. It's a great track though. Nice corners, changes in elevation, and awesome scenery, but you wouldn't get any passing as the cars probably can't run side by side in much of it.
