F1 » F1 Driver of the Year 2014: 1st

Totally deserved. In my opinion Lewis lost first spot by a thin margin, he could not beat Rosberg on Saturday. And he did not, despite his many wins, outscore him very badly either. But the old song about Merc dominating without competition is getting boring now... They had the same time, followed the same spec, and did a better job. If Ferrari had made the best PU, they would be the one pushing for the freeze to stay. There was a set of rules, and everybody knew it well in advance. Is that fact sad for us fan? Yup it is. Does that take from Merc success, making them less deserved? Not in a world where people are sane...

F1 » Haas F1 set to use Marussia factory as base

In my opinion, there is many reason why he should buy those data. Evidently they may prove useful in designing their car by providing a base they would otherwise be totally lacking. But if i was planning on starting my own team, just depriving another start-up team from acquiring and using those data could be worth the money i guess. All that considering that the data could be acquired at a fraction of their real worth.

F1 » McLaren fails to reach driver decision

I don't know if the realise this, but as good as Alonso is, he won't be able to drive both cars... Maybe Denis wanna give it a try? I was very relaxed about this thing some time ago, but it is really getting ridiculous by now. I'm the boss of my own little company, and i would really feel bad letting people hang on my decision for soooo long. But hey! I'm not a multimillion enterprise, so i guess i can still have a heart for the people who works for me...

F1 » F1’s Virtual Safety Car approved for 2015

Got no prob there, got a problem with people with knowledge bitching about those who try to understand something they don't. You fit the category. Knowledge is nothing if you don't have the will to share it. Really, i was asking a question hoping YOU precisely might give me an understandable answer, since you look very knowledgeable. You decided to bitch instead, show what kind of man you are.

F1 » F1’s Virtual Safety Car approved for 2015

OK, considering your last explanation, could the driver then be asked to activate the limiter under what would be called VSC condition? It would be his responsibility to do it and not the pit? I don't really know, just throwing ideas there. Maybe opening the possibility to use it that way could be abuse the way you said and act as traction control nevertheless. But i guess that would be easy to prove with telemetry?

F1 » Super Licence age limit to be introduced

While i can understand the reason why they do this, i don't agree with the basics of it. Some people learn very fast, and with the advent of computers and video games, some 15 years old could well have developed more awareness than their elders. Simulations today are very good even for console games, and could really help develop racing skills. Ever tried to win a WDC on expert difficulties? It ain't easy. Now imagine doing it while your 17 friends text you, your mom harass you to clean your room, and your girlfriend wanna make out! LOL. Today environment prepare them so much to multi-tasking i don't see a problem with them trying to drive F1. As with everybody else, as long as they got the speed.
