I'm a big time supporter of KR.
And as strange at it may seem, is so-called lazyness and selfishness is a point i like in him.
KR is nobodys puppet, and he know as we all know that he can be as fast as the devil if the team give him the right machinery.
When things goes badly, i don't think he don't care, he just realise that nobody will die from this and, while working to find solution, that there is no need to panic.
And he learned something from his time at Mclaren: When the car his breaking and things are going bad, f.ck it off and go party!!! :)

Being from Quebec, i don't really know much about all this knight system. Does it really change something to be knighted or is it simply an honorific awards nowaday? Do it prevent you to have to wait at restaurants or anything?

Quote:''Max gave the diffuser. Merc gave free engines and McL gear boxes and shifters. Brawn did nothing but run a built car.'' Not quite sure, but i seem to remember a chassis on those car, and a performing one at that... You are right in saying that they needed the exposure in order to attract good enough sponsorship to stay top team. But i my opinion, they do not cheated it, they simply succeeded. If the design of this first car had been bad, then it was good bye BrawnGP.

Would really love to see him back where he belongs. I started watching F1 a few years before Mika's era, and he turned me into a Mclaren fan. But i am now over all else a supporter of Kimi, same age as myself, started F1 very young, it was real cool at the time, and i have been supporting him since. So, i have been forced to support a red machine... Support the former ennemies... Now everything will fall in place, Alonso will help me hate the red has much as Schumy did, and kimi will be elsewhere, hopefully at Mclaren, but as long as it is in a good car, that is not so important after all. Hope to see a Kimi really wanting to take the fight to Ferrari.

I was thinking about it. Here in Quebec, the F1 coverage is not really good, so i cut myself from news and such for a few hour and wait for BBC coverage to be avaible for download on the internet. You might just be able to do the same, i am more than certain that at least certain NASCAR races are avaible for dowload.

Living in Quebec, i had the chance to look at quite a few Nascars races. As long as they are running street circuit, the show is in my opinion really really good. But i think i will never understand the point of running on oval. My fellow american people tend to think it is great, as for me i find it quite boring. In my opinion, race series in north america are really entertainning on street circuit, but loose much appeal as they do so little of them. This element taken aside, the driver battling on track make the show quite good.

I'm not the kind of guy who habitually wish people bad luck, but i find myself hoping that the result of the race will be Barichello first, with both Redbull just behind and Button out of the points. About the only way for us to have a good end to this season.

Just wondering... I don't know the details of the whole F1 history, have anyone driver or team ever banned for life from the sport? As far as fine goes, i know that the Mclaren one is by far the largest ever given, but as far as ban goes, where do the all time record stand?

I agree with you rob01. I'm in the process of starting a business, but haven't left my normal job. Why is it so? Only possible reason is because the new venture is not sute to ever materialise. But one thing i would like to know: How do you know that he is still working is normal job?

Piquet is now unemployable, that is truth. But the very reason why is not simply because he cheated (wich is reason enough), but also because he was no good at racing F1. I know i will be slated for writnig this, but cheating is nothing, getting caught is the real problem. In F1, and that in all era, cheats have prospered. My morality is somewhat special, that i do know. But in my opinion, you can cheat all you want, as long as you are ready to face the consequences if the **** hit the fan. But this case is particular, peoples may well had got injuried. The only person responsible for puting other safety at risk is Piquet. Nobody else had the power to choose wether or not to crash the car.
