I'm a big time supporter of KR.
And as strange at it may seem, is so-called lazyness and selfishness is a point i like in him.
KR is nobodys puppet, and he know as we all know that he can be as fast as the devil if the team give him the right machinery.
When things goes badly, i don't think he don't care, he just realise that nobody will die from this and, while working to find solution, that there is no need to panic.
And he learned something from his time at Mclaren: When the car his breaking and things are going bad, f.ck it off and go party!!! :)

Just wondering... I don't know the details of the whole F1 history, have anyone driver or team ever banned for life from the sport? As far as fine goes, i know that the Mclaren one is by far the largest ever given, but as far as ban goes, where do the all time record stand?

I agree with you rob01. I'm in the process of starting a business, but haven't left my normal job. Why is it so? Only possible reason is because the new venture is not sute to ever materialise. But one thing i would like to know: How do you know that he is still working is normal job?

Piquet is now unemployable, that is truth. But the very reason why is not simply because he cheated (wich is reason enough), but also because he was no good at racing F1. I know i will be slated for writnig this, but cheating is nothing, getting caught is the real problem. In F1, and that in all era, cheats have prospered. My morality is somewhat special, that i do know. But in my opinion, you can cheat all you want, as long as you are ready to face the consequences if the **** hit the fan. But this case is particular, peoples may well had got injuried. The only person responsible for puting other safety at risk is Piquet. Nobody else had the power to choose wether or not to crash the car.

From my head: Brendan is right, starting light in those condition is something that may be tried, as it do have a slight chance of working. So this is no evidence that FA was in the know. From my heart: I do personally think that the chance of FA not knowing are very slim indeed, but we have no fact showing it. All the people saying that FA must have know should have the fairness to admit that it is simply how they feel, not anything based on hard evidence. That is what i do anyway.

Kimi's move was on the edge of illegality for sure. But hell, it worked. Even more important it looked cool and dashing. Really happy with this performance, but even if Kimi is my favorite driver, i would have like for him to finish 2nd with the FI in front. Was hopping for it to happen at the last pitstop, but when i saw them getting in together, i knew that it would stay as it was.

Yes it was really impressive. KERS, and KERS only kept Fisi from winning it. That IMO is even more impressive than Vettel last year triumph. Hope they keep good pace, perhaps not frontrunner, but regular points contender would be great to see.

I for one, i'm excited with this but not for the same reason as everyone. I'm a huge Kimi fan, and fully realise that his recent attitude make him a waste of a good seat. Perhaps having the legendary Schumi as team mate will whip him into getting back to his ultimate competitiveness.

Condolences to all of his familly and friends. As other have said, at the least he died doing what he was living for. On another note, his death must not had been too painfull, wich for me is a relief. Anyway, as a dad myself, i feel the lost for John very deeply.

Had it ever hapenned before that a driver sueing a team got any positive response from the legal authorities? Anyway, i hope Seb does get another ride. But i don't really see who could give him one. People think that Renault should ditch Piquet in favor of Bourdais, but somehow i just can't see that hapenning.

JV is a possibility, but it depend on what they mean by "american". JV is from Quebec, and we in Quebec are american as much as people from the state all right, but most of the time they forget about it...
