I'm a big time supporter of KR.
And as strange at it may seem, is so-called lazyness and selfishness is a point i like in him.
KR is nobodys puppet, and he know as we all know that he can be as fast as the devil if the team give him the right machinery.
When things goes badly, i don't think he don't care, he just realise that nobody will die from this and, while working to find solution, that there is no need to panic.
And he learned something from his time at Mclaren: When the car his breaking and things are going bad, f.ck it off and go party!!! :)

They should keep Bourdais. Simple as that. And by saying so i state what I want to see happen, i don't try to think i know better than the one who will actually make the decision. What is correct and what is not is a rather subjective concept after all, depending on opinions. :)

Very sad news indeed. The kind of thing that almost always end up in the good guy having to quit in order to make way for money bringing pilot. And as much as i hope too that some other team will give him a call if STR don't keep him, i think that if it was to happen, it would already have. Anyway, we will take back anytime here in America, where he will be treated with the respect due to a pilot of his class.

QUOTE:"Kubica: 2009 F1 cars don't look 'the best'." That show his talents for understatement. But as other have said, ultimatly i don't care what the car look like as long as they stay blindingly fast and that the on track action get better!!!

It is no secret that bourdais is among my favorite. In my opinion, he will be the one with by far the most amelioration between his real standing and the poll standing. All in all, that show how good he realy was objectively, if you take into account his inexperience, "low grade" car and unthinkable bad luck!!!

That would in a way be in line with the current system that give a bigger reward to the first 6, while still allowing for a way to be able to discernate more easily performances at the back of the field. Let"s say that i want to know who between two backmarkers was the best in a previous year, nowaday one would have to go and look at each individual race result to have an idea, an "all finisher got point" system would allow it to be done easily by looking at the final standing. (Well, it's may sometime be misleading to judge performances be points alone, but you all get the idea anyway...) But that sound just WAY too logical to ever be applied in F1!!!

As other have said, and as i say for quite some time now, the only sensible change to the point system would be to introduce an "all finisher get points" system. Afterward, you shape it in a way that reward either high finishing position, or consistency. Simnply put a somewhat big gap in the point rewarded for high position if you want to encourage finishing high, or a somewhat evenly distributed points attibution if you want them to go for consistency. I would go with something like (for a 18 car field), 1 point for 18th up to 12 point for 7th, then jump to 18 for 6th up to 20 for 4th, then jump at 25 for 3th, 27 for 2nd and 30 for 1st. To be continued...

QUOTE:"including, it was reported, the head of the famed Cirque du Soleil" It is widely believed here in Québec that if Mr.Laliberté, who is know to be a big F1 fan and multi-billionnaire, decided not give a go at saving the GP, it is clear that there was ABSOLUTLY no way of making money out of it or of at least breaking even. In this regard, even F1 fan as myself have to understand that our gov. could not put public money in it. Public money is not for paying for show after all, it would have been great if there was a possibility of generating more income from a public investment, but to simply pay ourself a big show is unthinkable.

I think that the only thing capable of bringing back Williams to the top, in his current incarnation, is big time cost reduction. As soon as the big company backed team willnot be allowed to spend vastly more than a privateer will ever see in his life, Williams got all the chance to be back, it's not like they don't know what it take or how to achieve it.

I strongly hope Kimi will raise his game next year. He surely do want this crown back, or at least he should. Just have to sort out his qualifying woe, and everything should fall into place easily.
