I'm a big time supporter of KR.
And as strange at it may seem, is so-called lazyness and selfishness is a point i like in him.
KR is nobodys puppet, and he know as we all know that he can be as fast as the devil if the team give him the right machinery.
When things goes badly, i don't think he don't care, he just realise that nobody will die from this and, while working to find solution, that there is no need to panic.
And he learned something from his time at Mclaren: When the car his breaking and things are going bad, f.ck it off and go party!!! :)

It is good news to hear that they are on schedule. I just hope that they will get it right too. Having your car ready is one thing, having it being faster than the competition is quite another.

While i hope that we will keep our race here in Québec, i also hope that our representatives will not crawl in front of Bernie in ordor to save it. But as long as the benefices overcome the expense, i don't see why the gov. should not put money into it. But that is from a long time hardcore F1 fan, probably that my average co-citizen coudn't care less about the GP in fact. That is someting strange about F1 here, either you completly love it, either you don't care, there is no midpoint in it.

Too cool. That is exactly what i so like the guy. Kimi is his own man, he will help Massa because the team ask it, it thus become is job to do it, but he coudn't care less about Massa wining or not. At this stage of the season, i believe that the only thing that still matter to him is doing good enough to secure constructor championship for the team.

In reality, i am almost certain that Fernando must have say something like: -If i continue to have good result, that may take away points from Lewis (who is Mclaren only title hope), wich would help Massa. So yes, no doubt, if I can help, i will help Massa." People take for granted he hate Lewis because he don't want him to win, but if Lewis win, than McLaren win, so he don't want him to win quite simply. That is consistent with what Fernando say. But perhaps i can see this story being manipulated by the press, with most probably misquotation and quote out of context on both side, because i'm not a fan, nor a detractor, of any of the two protagonist.

About Alonso saying he would help Massa, i dug out the quote from the Crash article: -"Only last month the Spaniard had stated that he ‘would like it to be Massa who wins, because if he wins it means that [Lewis] Hamilton will not' [see separate story – click here] – alluding to his troubled relationship with the Briton when the pair were teamed up at McLaren-Mercedes last year." And -"“Yes, no doubt, if I can help, I will help Massa,” the Renault star told Spanish newspaper AS." But those of us who read Crash articles for quite a long time do know that we must read that in a special way. To be continued...

As for Ferrari being the fastest car out there, i would not say that. If Kovalainnen was up to the task, it would be a very, very long time that constructor title would have been in their pocket. And with the points he should have taken from the Ferrari's drivers, the driver title would too be in the bag for that matter. In conclusion, we have to thanks Heikki for having performed far below ( my ) expectations this year, in no other way would the suspense lasted till the last race otherwise.

No mention of the way FM talked like he actually managed to catch and overtake KR in the post-race interview... It was really laughable how he seemed ashamed to say that. But i nearly died with pleasure when after this blatant lie, KR acted like is own self and said it plain for all to hear: "Felipe passing me? I am part of a team and I am well aware what they expect of me. I am out of the title fight and have to do the maximum because Ferrari can achieve both its objectives. It's as simple as that." I don't have anything against this, as long as the "seconding" driver is not forced to play second fiddle as long as he still have his own chances. To be continued...

While it is true that the incident was a look alike of Massa-Bourdais in Fuji, i'm still happy that no penalties were applied. Hope it show that the race steward have been told to cool done a bit and not penalised every failed overtaking and/or defensive moves. True that those guy are the "best" driver in the world, but those beast still goes at over 200km/h most of the time. At this speed, error happens quite simply. Oh, i almost forgot to add that in my opinion too Trulli was "to blame" for the coming together. But it was one of those thing we used to call "racing incident" in a F1 long gone...

Bourdais more than deserve another shot at it IMO. I'm happy to see that he won't get on his knee just in order to stay in F1. Perhaps did he realised this year that it was not all that great and that he would perhaps fare better back in america. Still wish to see him back next year, if he is happy to...

I agree about the fact that Kubica is pure class, but don't think we have all the information needed to state that Hamilton would do very average performances in a lesser car. As thing are now, all we can say about Hamilton is that he seem to be a very fast driver, but extremely vulnarable to brain fade. I don't like him on a human way, like many other, but let's not forget that he matched Alonso in his first season and, like it or not, is eclipsing Kovalainen this year I do hope that he mature in the next few year, since i'm KR fan, i think i will new somebody new to cheer to in not too long and would like to support him as i like is "style" on track...When he keep his head that is...
