I'm a big time supporter of KR.
And as strange at it may seem, is so-called lazyness and selfishness is a point i like in him.
KR is nobodys puppet, and he know as we all know that he can be as fast as the devil if the team give him the right machinery.
When things goes badly, i don't think he don't care, he just realise that nobody will die from this and, while working to find solution, that there is no need to panic.
And he learned something from his time at Mclaren: When the car his breaking and things are going bad, f.ck it off and go party!!! :)

@Henry and Barry That is so true about Raikonnen. I am a big fan of him, and always say that i am now "forced" to be a supporter of Ferrari since it is who he drives for... It's a shame that Mclaren couldn't give him reliable car in those past days, that is where he was belonging. But with his new contract, it will be a long while if ever before he goes anywhere else. Meanwhile, Forza Ferrari!!!

Quote: "On lighter note - Kimi's statement is so true, for years He drives faster and faster in last part of race and fastest on last lap(and wins fastest lap award???),managing to win races sometimes " That was very exactly what i was going to say... LOL!!! We clearly see it ain't we? That's why he is not that good in qualifying, much too early.

I would add: But will say anything not to look like the one who missed the boat. Thiessen is using the O'so'convenient "i had no choices" factor to hide the fact the he *****d up big time on this one.

Can tell you that here in america, where we "can" feel much less bias toward drivers since we don't have one curently racing in F1, he is seen as one hell of a good driver for sure, one hell of a big mouth too.But we can turn of the TV sound. My personal opinion (as a guy from Quebec, former JV fan) is that for a rooky, we haven't seen much better in recent history. Won't talk about whole F1 history since i'm never talking about thing i know close to nothing about... But as thing are looking at the moment, LH got all his chances to prove to be one of, if not the, best driver in history. JV first season was great, but having Hill as direct opposition is nowhere as tough as having Alonso IMO.

I don't remember Pantano F1 performances too clearly. For sure, if it was with Jordan during the hard days, it should not have been spectacular. Anybody remember who was is teammate and if he got regularly trashed by him?

I'm starting to like STR, well, everybody do after Monza. But if they throw Bourdais out, they'll loose what little "fanboyism" i'm develloping for them that is sure. Bourdais is not only improving, but was a little better than vettel in the old car. The new STR don't fit him at all. I rekon that next year cars may be very different for Bourdais, who won a little more than one race in a "low aerodynamics" (well when compared to an F1 car anyway)/slick shod car. But then, if the world was a perfect place, STR would not sign him, but a better team would see his potential and rescue him before he's gone. That is my opinion, and as the saying goes, everybody have a right to my opinion :p

Yeah sure Massa don't deserve those points. I know that there is a set of rules and that they applied it, but to strip Hamilton of two points ( wich is what he would have lost by hypotetically finishing behind Raikonnen) and not giving them to ANYBODY back since Kimi failed to finish would IMO have been the fairest punishment. Hamilton would then have the win credited to his credentials, but no points "advantage" because of the whole situation. Anybody else think that would have been fair?

Now, the victim failed to finish... Does it make the penalty less deserved? I think not. Only thing that is REAL bad about all this is Whiting calling the move OK only to be seemingly unwilling to uphold his opinion. Man, if you don't have to authority to make such a call, then don't do it at first!!! I personally think that on this and on this alone, the penalty should have been overturned.

I agree with all those (few) who say that the infraction was indeed commited. He would have ended up a little farther behind if he did'nt cut the chicane for sure. But with the way Kimi handled La Source, Lewis would have been able to come back and overtake him from a full second behind!!!! ( I do know i'm exagerating there). But , even if he didn't needed the advantage he got tp overtake, he did get an advantage out of it nevertheless. So the punishment was called for. Was it too harsh, in the circonstances it seem so, but those rules are made to be sure that if you gain a position, whatever happen you end up behind the "victim". To be continued.

That sound right at first but could it work out? With today F1, everything is amost planned even before anybody gives it any tought. The tire are made to operate into sauch a small window that going very very wild with strategy is close to impossible, and that is not acounting for all those other spec that more or less dictate the "theorical best" strategy.
