F1 » Bernie: F1 can get 'close' to rivalling cricket in India

It's funny to hear the assinine comments from Bernie never end. I had the opportunity to sit and have dinner with David Hobbs and the stories he had about Bernie from back in the day were classic. I distinctly remember him telling me that Bernie was downright perplexed that people would go see a baseball game instead of a race at Laguna Seca back in the day. I guess some things never change.

MotoGP » Abraham drops back after suspension failure

You really have to root for Karel. He is on one of the worst bikes in the paddock came in under his own accord, albeit with personal money, but has really kept his nose to the grind and made do. I didn't know what to expect from him this year but I am impressed. Definitely rooting for him getting rookie of the year. LCR should take a long look at him for next year too.

MotoGP » 'Upset' Rossi ready to ditch new Ducati

It's sad but the higher you rise the more people want to knock you down. Rossi has said he is not willing to crash to make the bike go fast where Stoner would push and if he crashed he would crash. It is sad that ducati built a bike that has to be ridden beyond it's limits to go fast but it probably made Stoner the rider he is today. I think Ducati need to fully rethink that CF chassis. I know they like doing things different but different is not always better. Anyone who doubts Rossi or his ability obviously can't see past this current season. He is a record breaker and will always be remembered as a record breaker.

F1 » Horner accuses Webber of 'thinking only of himself'

Not sure about all that Donttalkshite. For those of us who have watched F1 over many decades we have memories of 2nd drivers handing over their cars to 1st drivers. So to me F1 has always been a team sport and this attitude of the driver over team is a relatively new. I don't envy horner's position honestly has to deal with drivers, sponsors, team, fans, etc and do what is best for all of em combined which can put you in a bad light but you can't please everyone all the time.

F1 » Webber 'not fine' with 'don't race' order

I believe all those saying Mark to Ferrari are ludicrous. If he hates being a 2nd driver at RBR what do you think he will be at Ferrari a team known for always have 1st and 2nd drivers since the beginning of time. Ferrari is a team and you play for the team period. I think the issue some are having is Horner saying we let our guys race. But in all honesty you can't let your guys race since F1 is more about team strategy than anything. Winning teams have always had orders and will always so it might seem like CH is double talking. I think it is more he has finally matured and had a revelation of truth.

F1 » Horner insists Webber 'free to race'

Teams are there to win championships period! There job is to clinch the constructors and drivers world championships and being a team sometimes means you have to play 2nd fiddle. Like it or not Team orders are legal and have always been in the sport of F1. The Truth is Seb is young and on his way up Webber is getting long in the tooth and on his way out. Who if you were team principle would you favor.
