F1 » Ghosn comments cast doubt on Renault line-up

Absolute zero chance. They can get JEV or K Mag to sub in for Pastor for basically free. Grosjean is decent but you can pick up JEV or K Mag for almost nothing. No reason to replace Palmer either.
They should've thought about this awhile back. I guess Maldonado's state funded money doesn't carry the same weight it used to??!!
If such is the case it would be interesting Curently a lot of political commotion in Venezuela, where dictatorship backing PDVSA and Crashtor is facing serious trouble. Crashtor escaped PDVSA corruption scandal not long ago, but maybe they know things we dont, things that may make the $ amount irrelevant.

F1 » F1 United States GP under threat after funding cuts

The fan base for this race was significantly Mexican, used to be Checo's home race, due to being so close to Mexico. With a much better event and facilities now in home land, in the heart of Mexico City and one week away, there is no sense on going to Texas, a race track in the middle of nowhere. Even without the hurricane, there would have been a significant drop in COTA ticket sale

F1 » Horner speculates run-off confidence causing tyre cuts

HRC: All they need to do is add a sensor strip to the track and corresponding sensor to the front wheels which triggers a reduction in throttle of say 50% for 2 seconds or so if the wheel goes outside the pre-determined track limit. That should do it! It may even allow a following car a chance of a free overtake too!
Great!! Then we would have the stewards discuss for 2 and a half hours just to conclude that the sensor was placed 0.03 cm into the track and will waive Lulu's trespassing track limits
