Ferrari Driver Academy No 1 talent will be ready for winning in a Ferrari once Checo's MCL contract is over. We may then have a mexican 2 WDC legend. A Ferrary champion is about being a champion on the track and off the track, which Checo will perform well per what he has shown so far but also from where he comes from. Proud of him Go Checo!!

Sauber is doing great. There was nothing they could do in turn 1 in Spa. Scrambles let aside, time will come for both Kamui and Sergio to reach far, hopefully in Monza. The car is improving, is consistant and both are good tyre keepers. Since Monisha took over CEO, they have been improving every race. I wish them good.

This thread has all gone off-topic. We have lately enjoyed five champions fight fiercely but respectfully in track corners where others have messed up. That's why they are F1 champions, they have the talent and the skill to do it right, even at the toughest corner. Not realy a Kimi fan, but him clean overtaking right at the entry of Eau Rouge made me cheer. FIA should really reflect on why Grosjeans, Lewises and Maldonados are not skilled like them and yet are let to drive in the very same race. In other words, top flight should be reserved for top drivers, and for those rookies that have the talent and have trained to be top drivers soon. That alone would have prevented La Source wreck.

I did not know that GP2-GP3 have more lenient stewarding on wreckless driving than F1. That's just silly. As formation leagues, GP2 and GP3 should be tough on safe driving behaviour, so that when they get to the top flight, safety and respect for rules is a deep learned skill.

For good or bad, this is quite a different world. Not long ago, same coments were issued about some "fool" who placed wings on F1 cars. This is called "evolution". With regulations and banns, lap times keep on falling every year. It will always be Formula One.

Checo has been a great tyre keeper since his GP2 days. Not surprising he is succeeding when racing in a tyre demanding circuit. Just look at Vettel and Fernando's results.
