and all the time Monaco gets away with paying zilch !! how does that work then ,it''s not as if Monaco can get away with calling itself a RACE track, more just an opportunity for some colourful race cars to drive fast close to colourful people with loads of money.

Quite right too...Silverstone shouldn't get any special favours at all .....anymore than Monaco !!! As I recall they don't have to pay a penny. I think it's a good job Bernie's only in it for the love of the sport and NOT for every penny he can squeeze out of the circuits. Let's be honest he's absolutely itching to relieve GB of a GP and give the slot to a more affluent country.

It seems to me that JB had an excellent 6 win headstart to the season by Ross Brawn seeing an opening in the rules that the others overlooked/ignored and the situation was compounded by that dopey no inseason-testing rule from the FIA. To be fair by mid season when the big hitters had been able to develop their cars the Brawns struggled. I think JB should be grateful to the FIA for 2009 'cos I don't see another golden egg being laid for him.

Now don't get me wrong cos I'm not a fan of MM but what concerns me is that if he gets his marching orders as we all say we want who's going to take his place ? Briatore has made his interest known but I personally think he would probably be as bad at throwing his weight around, Alan Donnelly is a biased sh1tkicker and the murmurings of Todt stepping in just makes my blood run cold, any suggestions as a replacement anyone ?!! :?

Quite honestly,IMO if budget capping is what it takes to get a decent sized grid and some serious RACING I say bring it on.It's these dopey rule changes that are p1ssing me off.The FIA say they want to get away from 1 team domination ala Ferrari/Schumacher they bring in a rule that is open to interpretation, Brawn get it right all the other teams get it wrong but then FIA introduce NO in-season testing so the havenots can't catchup and lo and behold we get 1 team domination. MM bans the in-season testing as a costcutting exercise but introduces KERS which costs a kings ransom and now wants budget-capping to SAVE MONEY!!! what the fvcks it all about ?!!
