F1 » Hamilton: Reliability all that can stop me

anyway, here's my view on the race, I thought it was excellent, Lewis, pit lane start, spin and podium, driver of the day, well done Daniel, another pot for your cabinet, I hope it's not the last, good drive by Alonso, making the best of a bad car, never to be discounted I'm also a fan of Nico but he did make hard work of trying to get past J.E.V. I wonder how far up the grid he would have got from the pit lane ? maybe 1 day we'll see

F1 » Ecclestone calls for more double points races

years ago I remember BE scoffing at the Indycar racing format and saying that F1 was about technology and pure racing and there was no place for razzamatazz and artificial racing !!!! And then the idiot is proposing a points system that should generate teams trying harder with development till seasons end when in fact if ANY team has a runaway season ahead of all the other teams there will be even less reason for them to keep pushing surely ..... I can't be ar5ed but has anyone done the math to see how last season would have finished using his last race and last 3 race double points proposal would have looked ?!!!
