F1 » Horner reiterates: No conspiracy at Red Bull

lets face it, unless there is some punishment meted out to SB ...... not so much because he overtook Webber but he actually went against team orders, in 1 of my posts I wrote, Horner should have said "Don't be silly Seb ...... you've made your point now give the place back" he should have done that straight away rather than face this backlash and loss of respect and credibility

F1 » Horner reiterates: No conspiracy at Red Bull

@kakao, I've said many times before I don't like team orders but they are there and ALL drivers are employees to do as they are told, read my post again,SB went against team orders THAT is my criticism, and I won't be a hypocrite IF Webber had TEAM ORDERS in Brazil he should also have been taken to task, and ANY drivers in the future ( yes even my favorites ) who are given an instruction that they choose to ignore deserve to be penalised in some way

F1 » Hamilton insists: We have no number one

I'm probably going to put the cat among the pigeons but here goes with my take on both teams ..... I'm not a fan of team orders but I understand the reasoning by holding position ok. Nico caught LH because of the fuel situation only, Brawn was with the long whereby better to have a 3 and 4 than them getting involved in a possible incident cos you can bet that LH wouldn't have given the place up easily IF it was a RACE between them... I think we're all agreed on that ok . Now Red Bull... Vettel knew the score about holding position after the final pitstop which was evident by his VERY COMPOSED fone call a few laps beforehand, It was very nice of Horner to say "don't be silly Seb" BUT he forgot to say " you've proved your point, now give the place back ". As far as I'm concerned there was absolutely NO remorse from Seb his comments had no sincerity or regret in them cos he had the win/points in the bag .. end of. when all's said and done Horner made .......

F1 » Ecclestone: Another Vettel title no bad thing

@ richard, sorry I'm a bit late in the day I know, I don't remember a time when Senna DOMINATED for several years, I seem to recall he always had stiff competition either with a team mate or a.n.other BUT dominance by a driver you like is always a sweeter pill wouldn't you agree, however I'm not going to be a hypocrite even that would become boring, I know you'll pounce and say that Seb has had his work cut out in 2012 but he wasn't facing much in the way of competition 2010 and 2011 I don't think, btw I was a bigger fan of Mansell and his 1992 championship was a show in dominance , no mistake, but a couple of years of that would have bored me too, I watch F1 because I love the competition, overtakes, racing if I wanted processions I'd only watch Monaco, last word from me, don't think I'm taking away from Seb he came back from nowhere and full credit to him, if next year he can do the same again brilliant I just don't want another 2010 or 2011 .... cheers

F1 » Brawn: Hamilton 'part of solution' at Mercedes

@ stewie, according to his fans, MS was going to come back and wipe the floor, in fact I recall Ross Brawn implying the same .... well, he didn't did he and thats what I meant about hype, by the way I did follow Schumi as a fan when he burst onto the scene but quite honestly amid all the bending of rules, cheating and dubious I lost interest pretty quickly, and certainly the Ferrari dominance was just plain boring, the same as the Vettel/Red Bull are proving to be quite honestly. 1 last point regarding MS,even though I no longer supported him, in my view he was the COMPLETE driver of his time, but he AND his team ( which ever that was at the time )never needed to cast a shadow over their achievements by some of the underhand tactics because he was good enough to take a bad car and carry it on his back to a win .... btw I'm not typing through rose tinted spectacles, I'm fully aware of Senna's track conduct at times and I have NEVER condoned or supported him either
