F1 » Manor F1 ready to race in Australia

sunny, tbh granted there will always be a team at the bottom but with the way BE has staggered the monies and bonuses it makes it even harder for the backmarker teams to progress in my view, I personally don't see why the top teams get free travel etc and the lower teams don't, quite honestly they all race in the same championship, they all have to get to the same tracks so I reckon they should all have the same benefits and / or expenses, it seems to me it should be all for one and one for all BUT extra benefits / payment bonuses and such like should be awarded on performance in the races .... after all it's the unfairness of the benefit / bonus system which is whats squeezing the lesser teams off the grid anyway.... but best wishes to Manor

F1 » Hamilton: I don’t want it easy

Richard, sorry for the late reply Ive bin away from my puter, I haven't got my knickers in a bunch at all, Ive never ever implied LH is a great but he is a damn fine racer I'm sure you can admit to that !! but then again I have respect for him, Alonso, Kimi and several of the other drivers on the grid, I don't think Im a fanboy at all if Im honest, as I said I only picked you up because I personally don't find you objective at all when it comes to LH, objective to me would be something on the lines of .... it was an easy race win for LH but it was a shame Nico had a problem to make a race of it .... or ...lets hope LH has more than his teammate as competition when he defends his title rather than a two car championship ....that sort of thing, I would like to know whether you would had the same OBJECTIVE view if it were roles reversed and Nico had LH wins and points ... what do you reckon ?

F1 » F1: Alonso returns to McLaren to emulate Senna

fullofit, wasn't that in the bent ford with the traction control that wasn't, the launch control that wasn't, the 'missing' fuel filler filter that almost cost Verstappen his life ..... richard, although I'm a Senna fan, I agree with you he didnt revolutionise it and with all the comments you make, but I think he took driving to another level, and not necessarily in a good way, MS then took it up yet another level in my view !!! aside from that it'll be interesting to see how JB shapes up against Alonso because he was none too shabby beside LH who in turn was none too shabby against Alonso !!!

Richard 'who can be objective and view his performances in a cold light! we just do not rate him highly' gotta be honest with you fella, yourself and Tai are a long long way from objective when it comes to LH, no matter what he does or how well he does it you both will always conjure up a negative ... hardly objective !!! i.e. he led from start to finish = he had the best car he passed his teammate = team orders he started at the back of the grid and still won = he's still got the best car he set fastest lap = thats what happens cos he has the best car examples only but you get my drift I'm sure

F1 » Hamilton takes second F1 title with Abu Dhabi win

Richard, as for fangio? no, he did not always have the best cars. he also drove different makes of cars and in one year (i think) he drove three different makes! correct me if I'm wrong cos I may well be, but wasn't that the era when the lead driver could commandeer the other drivers car if theirs played up ? if that is the case would Fangio been as successful, cos thats a bit like having 2 bites of the cherry ?!! Congrats to LH, shame for Nico but very magnanimous in defeat, Ricciardo driver of the year in my view
