F1 » Driver of the Day ‘pointless’ – Hamilton

the FIA dinosaurs are missing the point as usual, what we the fans want to see is wheel to wheel racing, and quality overtaking, the best way to 'reach out to the fans' is for the drivers etc to get out there and HAVE to spend time doing autograph signings on a race weekend, at the track fans could buy a limited amount of tickets to autograph signings and donate the money raised to charities, seems like a win win to me, 'driver of the day' awards will cause more hassle than happiness total waste of time

F1 » Vettel: Complexity and Mercedes dominance harming F1

but Seb, surely Mercedes have another two years of dominance to go before they catch up with your 4 championships, granted F1 will be boring if Mercedes carry on dominating but then again it was pretty boring when you and Red Bull were dominating and Ferrari and MS before that !!! until something is done about cars not being able to follow too close and more testing to give teams a chance to catch up there will always be one team dominating, and that team is the one with the best car out of the box at the first race.... whichever team that is

F1 » Vettel defends Ferrari after Pirelli ‘risk’ claim

CSMITH, I hear what you say about the testing ban in the interests of cost-cutting, I'd love to know how much a full seasons testing for all components ( inc tyres ) would compare to the development and manufacture of this new breed of hybrid engine financially, nowhere near the expense I bet, coming off the back of that I wonder if it would helped the smaller teams to survive if this extremely expensive cost-cutting hadn't been implemented ?!!

F1 » Button hints at options beyond McLaren

British drivers always seem to end their careers on a low rather than a high I think, I'm not saying it's because they're past the sell by date at all before anyone kicks off, but certainly in recent years it almost seems to be a pattern !!! Coulthard spent his last year crashing ( not all his own fault )... Mansell uncompetitive McLaren... Herbert uncompetitive Jag .... Irvine numerous breakdown in the Jag .... Brundle unreliable Jordan.... Damon Hill uncompetitive Arrows ( except for once I think ) ..... hmmmm I could go on... any thoughts out there ?
