Love Colin......but not sure how much tutoring Ben will need. The guy has serious talent. WSBK Chap first time trying. My money's going on top 5 next year - By race 3....5 aliens instead of 4. Think the pedrosas....lorenzos...stoners will not enjoy his presense in the paddock as much as we will.

All this talk about greed and money.Kimi is looking for approx. 7M from Maclaren (not 45m.) Ferrai will pay him aprox 10m if he gets a drive. If he doesnt get a drive ferrai pay him 17m which was what his ferrai salary would have been for 2010. So the guy is looking for what he was due for 2010.....just like most of you would if you were dumped for your rival who is getting more than you were (Alonso 22m). Why else would he bother if he is getting 17m for not driving. As for motivataion.....he will want to beat ferrai and the only way is with a decent car and thats with Lewis H and the mac boys. He wont care whos No 1 or No 2 on paper. He will drive as he always does. Roll on 2010.

100% agree dario...always wanted to know how everyone knows hes not motivated to win. Dont think can drive for Ferrai next year..he was 'paid off' by them so I think he is off the books.

Hope he stays. Think he was genuinely hurt by what happened at Ferrai. If he gets a sniff of beating them next next just watch him go. Did an excellent job with a c**p car for second half of this season. Didnt get the credit he deserved for putting Ferrai in fourth on Constructors Champ nad only one point behind McClaren...who had two drivers!!

As a double world champion of WSBK JT did alright in his learning year and there were high expectations for 09 season....and it didnt happen. So predictions are a funny thing at top class level. I do think 'The Ben' will do well. Difficult team to join with lorenzo looking to be the next rossi and rossi undecided about his future but i'm guessing ben is up for the challenge. Looking forawrd to what he has to bring to Motogp As for this weekend I think he will be happy with 8th-12th

Great ride but he still had to be bit of a loose cannon. Anyone see his celebration wheelie over the line where he came so close to pit wall he nearly took checkered flag man out. Himself or Elias definately deserve the seat over Talmaci but money talks.
