F1 » Parr: New engines will be good for F1


finally they will have to use fia's world engine (1.6l turbo)this year already used in WTCC and WRC those to series even have almost the same homologation rules so one manufacturer easly can use his cars (parts of the cars - eg driveshaft..) in the other series FIA defenitly wants this engine also used in F1 (this is really rediculus!!) powered up maybe through twin instead of single turbo and naturally with a strong kers system. .... not good for F1 greetings

with this 50mio, the BE controlled CVC, also got control over the rights over F1 - formerly owned by leo kirch. how many millions bernie earned, alone from F1 rights, since then (through CVC) .. those 50mio, to get a banker Banker from BayernLB (they controlled the bankrupt leo kirch empire), to sell everything to CVC was a really greate investment ..

F1 » Lotus 'has to have five-year plan'


RB, ML, Ferrari, Renault, Mercedes - searching for fragments of a second. Williams, TR, FI, Sauber - looking for parts of a second. the rest needs to make up seconds ... - even to reach Q2 in F1 finding seconds can be done (even in 14-16 months) but finding the last parts and fragments, that is where it really gets difficult und expensive
