Hey, I only included the Talmasci in the list as pure fact not to make a point, i'm also not overly chuffed how he got that ride, money shouldn'y be able to buy a place in MotoGP, i know its a fact of life but still, he's achieved little in 250 and now has a MotoGP ride. And yeh, why can't the Brits be happy for JT when he has a good result, after all, if you support anyone, when they do well, you're happy rite?

BTW the Motorsport "Triple Crown" is Monaco F1, Indy 500 and Le Mans. Nascar isn't included in it. It also considered to include the F1 Title (despite that making it 4). Villeneuve hasn't won at Monaco, nor has he won at Lemans. Only Graham Hill has all 3 and all 4. JPM has more chance of getting the original triple than JV does though.

Thanks, i guessed someone had binnecd it or they'd had a mechanical. They lapped considerably faster than anyone else and caught p a massive amount of time, real pitty they didnt manage the win.

Thought i'd add a congratulations note to Steve and his fellow Honda France riders for the second place in the Le Mans 24hr race. Not sure what happened at the start but they ended up 7-8 laps down, finished only 5 down to a very good Yamaha Austria team. Love to know what happened but it seems that this website has compltly forgotten one of the highlights of the endurance series. If it is on here, can someone show me where.....???

The ideas of the 600cc production engine class was fine, why bring this rediculous single engine idea in. With manufacturers like gilera, derbi, moto guzzi, norton etc all expressing an interest in building one of these bikes, surely they will be put off by the engine as its not their brand. This had the potential for a multitude of different shapes, designs etc which would have been really exciting for anyone who appreciates the engineering and beauty of these bikes. Unfortunatly now it will only be tuners who enter, what a waste!

This sort of article is completly pointless, its a speculative assesment based on figures which occured in completly different circumstances from the proposed situations. It's as usefull as the assesment that if depuniet would have finished where he qualified in each of the races last year, he'd have been 7th in the title. Theoretical analysis with no real statistical base which has just opened up another thread of lets all slate JT.

Get off JT's back, hes come of the back of 2 massive high sides which wud probably have had most people on here in hospital for weeks on morphine. As for CE's result, its a good one, i'll admit that, i'm a fan of Colin's but unfortunatly race 1 is always gd for colin as is pre season, its the rest of the season where his results get worse and worse.
