BSB » Hill edges ahead with fifth victory

Sweeble - That was a bad example after such an incredible race on Sunday, but the majority of the time it's only the frontrunners getting the coverage... Steve - there was a decent amount of people there throughout the weekend, not as many as I've seen before but not far off. Although there was noticeably less people paying to use the grandstands at the top of Paddock Hill and the start/finish line. Whether they didn't want to cash up more money or just couldn't justify it. That's something we can only speculate though!

BSB » Hill edges ahead with fifth victory

Steve - are you sure he didn't say that he made good money from BSB? What a crock of sh1te! So many of the riders are struggling to make it to all the rounds and some have even binned the BSB off to race in other championships, like Thundersport, Derby Phoenix etc because they're racing for the love of it and can't afford to run for no coverage. Let's face it - how much coverage did any of the Supersport riders bar the front five or six actually get? I was at Brands all weekend so didn't see the coverage.

BSB » Loris Baz leaves Motorpoint Yamaha

So, the marshals don't get paid, the riders don't get paid, retails and food pitches are paid for at pretty handsome costs, most of the circuits are owned by the championship's owners... Yes, the air ambulance and some other expenses must be covered, but where the frig does ALL the money go? It's no wonder some of these lads stick predominantly to the roads where there's some actual prize money.

WSS » Buckmaster wants a ‘fully focused’ Ellison

Not only is Backmarker publicly questioning his rider's focus and commitment, which from a rider like James is frankly ridiculous, he's also been crying about other people's perception of the PTR bike's top speed yet again. For a man that doesn't care about other people's thoughts/comments it's very odd how much he tries to defend himself and his team. I'm pretty sure that the fallout from Pakalgar's post-Laverty years and a pretty obvious lack of wins isn't exactly pleasing Simon. And how the frig can he question his rider's commitment when Ellison has driven to every possible round. If that's not commitment in this day and age I don't know what isn't. He'd have much better results and standing in the championship if it weren't for numerous mechanicals either!

MotoGP » Letting it all sink in...

Well said McBain! There are indeed douchebags in all nationalities. It's just a shame they tend to gather together sometimes. Just look at the track invasion at Donington after the MotoGP race a few years ago as a prime example... Nana Linda - Toseland won races during his 2004 championship-winning season. The only rider I can think of (off the top of my head) who didn't win a race while winning a championship was Andrew Pitt in 2001 (I think) for Kawasaki in the World Supersport championship.
