Having just seen the footage on Eurosport, it looks like he ballsed it up all by himself. Yes there were riders ahead of him, but you can't see him clipping anyone - it almost looks like he panicked. Very strange... *edit* Just slo-mo'ed it and Kiyo's index finger pulls the front brake lever. That's a weekend warrior's mistake when they're playing power rangers on a Sunday morning spin out... Thanks Sky+!

No Buckmaster blog is without a bit of self-praise, but for once he's spot-on. The three Brits riding Moto2 this season all went to Spain in their youth. Hopefully now four strokes are the future of GP racing there'll be a bit more emphasis on the younger riders. Saying that, it's all about the cash on the paddock, not the talent. Just look at some of the backmarkers getting rides with decent teams because of money and bloodlines...
