It seems that Hudson has spat his dummy out yet again... His ego just keeps getting in the way of business again and again.

Good riddance Hudson.

why all the negativity? he'll be racing with a proven team on a proven machine (albeit a slightly newer version) so I don't think I have to say how many times they've won the WSS class do I? as good as Rea is (I'm a huge fan) they wouldn't put him in the WSB team ahead of Sofu with his knowledge of the circuits and on such a high from his immense season and championship win. I think this is the best move for Jonny, as the Ducati is a major unkown quantity in competition and staying with HM plant would be pointless. let's just hope honda don't sh1t on him from a great height as they've been known to do in the past...

oooh it's all handbags go round here. not sure there's much else to be said on the subject really... jacque got a deserved slaying by all for going in too hot on vermeulen, pedrosa and i think it was edwards, but RdP was unlucky. KWTaxi - Mushet's a Scottish name. sorry to disappoint! ;)

you're both pretty dumb sounding to me. how about you think before you type? there's no doubt George Lawrence is a great rider, but it's a big step up to top-flight GP racing. give the lad a couple of seasons. i'll be watching with great interest to see if Dovi and DeAngelis get snapped up too. as for the after-race antics George, leave it to Rossi when/if he starts winning again. it's just not funny when you're doing it i'm afraid. Rossi always had that air of arrogance about him, especially in his youth, but you just come across as an obnoxious little bugger!

KWTaxi: two words for you: Christian Sarron. I do agree with certain comments about taking action against riders that seriously mess up, like Roberts and Guintoli at Laguna, when Hopkins got fined for showing some passion, these guys got away, just like Elias and Jacques earlier on in the season. Mamola's idea of having a briefing session before each weekend of racing commences so riders can voice any issues from the previous meeting is an excellent idea too. Could help clear the air and also bring around some interesting love/hate relationships like inthe good old days of racing!

I think Leon will have a tougher time in rehabilitation than Elias etc because of the possible muscle/ligament damage caused by the dislocation. I read that the medical staff trackside did an amazing job (as usual) with Leon and had his knee back in as soon as possible, limiting serious long-term damage. Don't think i mentioned this in my previous post, but well don to the marshalls for an incredible effort, not just for the Camier incident, but for the whole of the weekend. Apart from being able to watch the racing close-up, these people do it for the love of the sport, while risking their own health to ensure the riders get looked after if anything untoward happens over the weekend.

i was stood on the mountain, facing the rear ends of the bikes as they went over and leon had pushed too hard the three laps before that, landing back wheel first at too high a lean angle and with the front end way too high. by no means am i saying he deserved the truly horrific injuries he recieved, but it was bound to happen. after the biaggi-esque incident with rea in the first race, he showed some of his inexperience, yet he was so quick all weekend. two momentary lapses have ruined his otherwise brilliant rookie season. i taped the coverage and had to turn away as soon as i saw his lower leg rotating. truly sickening stuff and great work by the marshalls as usual. get well soon leon
