It seems that Hudson has spat his dummy out yet again... His ego just keeps getting in the way of business again and again.

Good riddance Hudson.

what a load of cr@p some of you lot type. "my only concern is Rea"? i'm pretty sure Fabrizio has taken out more riders than Rea ever has in WSBK..

Cortese screwed up Smith's chances in the first turn of the last lap by getting in front of him and letting Pol get away. Still, Pol deserved the win and Cortese had a good ride, as did Bradley. Still not sure how Cortese avoided Terol's bike though?! Cat-like reactions or what?! Nice to hear Smith apologising in the post-race interview and hearing that Terol put it down as a 50/50 racing incident. Still, what a race! Simon made a bigger fluff than the early celebrations saga earlier in the season - he was miles ahead...

You've got no chance of Crutchlow going out tomorrow and just "stay ahead" of Norge. I think he'll be out for the win and will either be 6 or 7 secs clear or in the kitty litter.

Funny how Rea's only had one DNF all season but everyone seems to be tagging him as a crasher... The only other time I can think of this season like the last round when he's been a bit wild was when he's ran off the track was at Donington when he had to fight through from somewhere like the Scassa/Salom/Baiocco area of the field. Fabrizio and Biaggi have done worse, just like the pinging of Haga that cost Nori the championship in '07. If you're only as bad as your last race, then Rea will be pretty good tomorrow afternoon, i've got a feeling about it...

The Bog Brush has helped Nori again. Ah well, it's up to Nori to help himself, just like Bayliss did with Fabrizio and Lanzi and just like Toseland did when he had the (not so) impressive Rolfo as team mate. Camier did ok, considering he's never used qualifiers before - just shows how much of a difference the uber-grippy rubber makes to your times. Nice to see Rea up there as per. Hope he keeps the red mist (and Fabrizio) out of the equation tomorow to shut the muppets up who've been slating him for his riding in the last round. Keep it lit!

Nice oppurtunity for Leon, although I hope it doesn't do his chances for rides next season any harm by riding in a more competitive championship where more than a handful of riders have won a race this season. Sic is 6ft, so a couple of inches more shouldn't harm Shafter's chances of fitting on the bike too much.

Leon's deserved this all season - but man has it been a bit stale, especially when you compare it to the other results at Silverstone and Imola today. (Not) nice to see the leg-breaker on the podium, although it's about time he was best Honda for once.

Wonder if Linny has to pay for these rides, like Gowla has ALL SEASON. Rob Mac is a money-grabbing git by all accounts... Still, I rate Dan and hope he can put in some solid rides on the underperforming Coca-Cola/Node4 side of the garage.

Truly deserved and he held Ellison off in the dying stages. Apart from a modest wheelie down the straight after Sunny Out, he seemed to take it in his stride. Saw him as I was leaving Croft on Sunday night and offered my congratulations to which he seemed almost embarrassed when he replied! Saying that, I think he had his mind on his good lady about to give birth only hours later. So congrats to him and Shaun Muir, whose son James was born only a few hours before Finlay Easton who, according to another well-known website, already weighs more than his Dad! Not a bad weekend for SMR Hydrex then!

Fantastic news. Hopefully we'll see a full season of him this time. Next season could be very interesting with some of the talent emerging from the support classes like Alastair Seeley and some of the Supersport front-runners. Sylvain is a credit to the championship and the sport in general and I can't wait to see him in action at some of the circuits he's not had chance to ride competitively yet.
