BSB » Tommy Hill wins 2011 BSB title by 0.006secs!

Dale - your comment about rugby union scoring has nothing to do with the ridiculous showdown system. Do they stop a rugby match with 20 minutes to go and write off all the points scored? Scoring used to be different in the days of Hailwood and Ago when the top 6 only scored points, with 1st place taking 8 points. At the end of the day it was still only the person who scored the most points at the end of the season. A bit different to podium credits and showdown totals isn't it?

You can disagree with my last sentence, but the first part of my post is mathematical fact. Hopper missed three races and still only lost to Hill by 2 or 3 points. How's that really fair? Anyway, considering Hopper only raced at Donington before and learnt all these other circuits, that makes him my rider of the season. Him And Graeme Gowland, who made some of the full superbike riders look a bit daft!

RR » Ian Hutchinson back on track with modified R1

Bet that pic's by Double Red, seeing as they couldn't be ar$ed to put the bike somewhere where there wouldn't be dayglo Suzuki Swift in the background. Amateurs. On a more positive note, it's brilliant to see Hutchy back on a bike in anger (although he looked pretty nippy through Ballacrye with the frame still on his leg at the TT.) Can't wait to see him back at some real road racing soon.
