That's shot the fox!
He needs that like a third armpit!
When I was car racing, which is nothing like bike racing, is it Steve?
Back across the stripe!

God, it's just too awful.

Yup, I agree totally (and what kind of fool would argue with Il Dottore?), but ultimately the eff-up can be laid at only one door - Honda's. They wanted a tiny bike that their new, brilliant tiny Spanish rider could rule with - uh-urgh. Denied. No other factories were militating for change in the way of Honda. Until they can see a good reason (read: opportunity for their rider to win the world title) they just ain't interested. In fact, if you look at every technical change that's fooked up great racing in the name of 'sport' (read marketing or sporting opportunity) there's only only mob pushing for that change - yup, you guessed it - Honda.

Clucking bell. What a story! Mind you, I don't see why what the difference is between the behaviour of the Regie at Singapore and Michael Schumacher torpedoing other drivers on his way to seven titles.

What a complete idiot. Racing incidents happen, but that guy has proven himself completely untrustworthy on the track. As a racer you need to have faith in the rest of the field, faith not to act like a teenager on a first date, diving in d1ck first. Brookes has proved himself not mature enough to compete at the top level. He needs a ban to let both him and the series leaders time to cool off.

I think it's highly likely that Bernie will find a compromise with FOTA, one that involves the removal of Max from the FIA. I cannot imagine he will a) permit F1 to be broken up or b) permit a breakaway to draw breath without a slew of legal actions. F1 will run in 2010, one way or another.

Great race, with good news for JT at last. In other news, the BBC's commentary was utter, utter crap. Cox and Parrish missed the start Rossi got, ignored Melandri's belting pace until he passed Rossi, blathered on again about the lack of "ship to shore" radio and seem to exhaust their stock of technical insights with "...he's on the hard tyre - it'll come to him". And God only knows how many times that dolt Cox said "Across the stripe." Just don't get me started on their banal betting chat with added whistle. I mean - is this the best the BBC can do? Really? Total rubbish. A shambles. You just don't get it, do you?

Gripping stuff, even if was somewhat farcical in places. Unlike the Beeb's Charliex Cox and Steve Parrish, who was especially poor - even by their low standards - and farcical almost everywhere. Is there something wrong with giving us split times? Can't they see when a tyre's gone? Do we really need wet weather rules, "ship-to-shore" comms, etc etc explained to us every race? If the Beeb can find the energy and tech to give us updates on the red button screen about forthcoming programmes, perhaps they can give us live timing, too.

Yes, that's what I thought. Blah-blah-blah, white noise, white noise, keyboard heroics. I'm pleased to see you've dropped your cod 'fear of copyright infringement' excuse. Isn't it because you actually feel a bit silly? Or are you being pressed to devote more time to your Roswell/Tower 7/Illuminati theory websites? Come on son, take off that tinfoil hat and tell us what we want to hear. Or do you fear an albino monk and a shadowy cabal of Bauer executives will hunt you down?

You're telling me and the Crash massive that a magazine is written by "farcical apologists" based on something that's written in the "bottom right hand corner" of a single page? What explosive denial could be contained therein? Enlighten us, do. Don't worry about "copyright laws" - I became reasonably familiar with them when I passed my NCTJ law exams. I think if there's a legal issue they'd be prepared to overlook it to see you try and justify your libel. I could even phone them up if you'd like. Put up or shut up, matey.

Hey, "unregistered", perhaps you can do us all a favour and describe in a rather more specific way what on earth you're rambling on about. The magazine is made up of many, many pages - some of which mention the word 'Honda' more than once. Good grief...

"Bike magazine...blah, blah, blah...farcical apologist of all things Honda...blah, blah, blah" What planet are you on? What near-dormant part of your brain sparked briefly with that unfounded cack? Hey ho. Anyway. Honda. 600s. No surprise - and what a load of crap that's going to be, eh? What miracle technology are they going to dream up to differentiate them from WSS? KERS? Anti-gravity pods? Load of rubbish all-round.
