That's shot the fox!
He needs that like a third armpit!
When I was car racing, which is nothing like bike racing, is it Steve?
Back across the stripe!
God, it's just too awful.

Pedrosa: de Angelis collision 'avoidable'.

How many wins has Dani had in the last three years? Six? He's out of here come the end of the season, no doubt about it. I doubt many will miss him or his puppetmaster Puig.

MotoGP back on British Eurosport!
Floating viewers probably couldn't tell (or don't care) if the commentators were reading from the Gettysburg address, but for those with some insight the Beeb's 'experts' do about as much damage to this beloved sport on race weekend as George W Bush and a button marked 'BANG!'. Thankfully it looks as both sides can draw some satisfaction from this announcement, especially if Julian, Toby and Randy can be coerced back into the booth at this late stage. And perhaps, just perhaps, this row has persuaded the Beeb to address the pathetic utterings of Messrs Cox and Parrish. We shall see...

BBC responds to MotoGP fans.
1 disagrees.
I know the Beeb's MotoGP producers (a little) - and criticism of them as ill-informed, unprofessional or uncaring is utterly, utterly wrong. But why the stinking breath uttered up from Sunday's commentary box? Who knows.

BBC names its MotoGP line-up.

The deadly duo in the commentary box are laughably bad, but I don't think we're helping our cause with venomous personal comments, especially with regards to Suzi Perry. I think they're not only ungentlemanly, but inaccurate and uncalled for. Sorry if that's poncy, but it's the kind of horridness that'll have the Beeb's producers dismissing forums like this as full of slathering twunts and, ergo, worth ignoring.

Actually - there is a solution. Subscribe to MotoGP.com's broadcast package and you can get live streaming and as-live on demand of all the races. Their commentary is very good (they provide the voices for the Beeb's 125 and 250 coverage) - the only problem is cost -around £70 for the season. And despite my, alleged, 5Mb broadband the picture often freezes, though that may be due too server overload at the Dorna end.

Sadly it's all about bums on seats. The Beeb reckons that their simpering pair of clowns is more accessible to more people than the informed commentary to an informed audience afforded by the Eurosport mob. In my wildest dreams I hope that the end of the Eurosport commentary might spur Parrish and Cox into something altogether more grown-up and insightful, but my belief is that the producers prefer not to alienate, what they believe, is a large majority of floating viewers with little or no technical knowledge. Bels, if you're reading, that's (in my humble) a mistake - look at the success ITV had with F1, C4 with cricket and so on. Audiences CAN be trusted with things technical.
