That's shot the fox!
He needs that like a third armpit!
When I was car racing, which is nothing like bike racing, is it Steve?
Back across the stripe!

God, it's just too awful.

A medical pedant writes: Erm, it''s FIBULA, not ''fibia''.

Umm - actually staying loyal DOES help. But only if you're Japanese: Okada, Yanagawa, Nakano, Kagayama etc etc all once great riders who've stuck with the same factory...kept on long after they should've been put out to pasture.

What a disgrace. Still, I suppose Ferrari have got to win it somehow...

Cox and Parrish only appear poor if you have any kind of insight or interest in motorcycle racing that extends beyond the superficial. In the same style of a) Ian Wright b) Boris Becker and c) Mark Blundell, Cox and Parrish are shining examples of ex-pros who can't commentate their way out of wet paper bags but who producers think have a latent appeal thanks to their 'star' quality. Incidentally, in my humble, Suzi Perry is miles better than either of them, and transcends the usual eye-candy label, thanks to her talent and enthusiasm. Once Belinda was brave enough to put BSB's own Barry 'Shouty' Nutley out to pasture, perhaps she'll do the same with this pair of pantomime horses.

Oh good, more ill-informed babbling from that goonish pair of Cox and Parrish - I can''t wait. To anyone with the remotest insight into the sport they''re simply an embarrassment. Everything else about the presentation is slick, done with enthusiasm and well-rounded. I understand that on the Beeb entertaining the wider, often less-anoraky viewer is key to spreading the word and getting bums on seats - but, honestly, is this unholy duo really the best way to go about it?

What a crying shame. BBC''s commentary is lightweight, superficial and trivial. They should get rid of Parrish and Cox and replace them as soon as possible with Julian, Toby and Randy. Does anyone actually like the BBC''s work? At all?

Hold on tight Johnny, but don't worry; SuperMac's at the wheel.
