F1 » Alonso wins German GP

In Bahrein, Hamilton went off the track as part of a dual where he was already alongside when Rosberg defended aggressively. Vettel just drove around Button, he was completely behind before he went off the track. Personally, I think Hamilton's move was illegal as well, but Vettel's was just blatant and completely avoidable. If that isn't punished either, passing off track is just simply allowed apparently.

F1 » Ecclestone: 'Wrong' to slate Hamilton, 'let him race'

Sure, we like to see aggressive racing, but by drivers who know their limitations and rarely get it wrong. That's what differentiates F1 from GP2, IRL etc. Remember Canada last year, when Schumacher kept hitting people and we all thought he had lost "it"? That's because as aggressive as he always been, he very rarely got it wrong in the past. Same goes for Senna. We want to see drivers that are good enough to make an aggressive move stick, not drivers that bluntly run into their competitors because of poor judgment and lack of self-control. What we don't want to see is our favorite drivers taken out of the race by this guy.

F1 » Mosley: Bahrain go-ahead 'would be a PR disaster'

This isn't the 80's anymore. Going to Bahrein will be politically and socially unacceptable. Which is why I'm not worried about it happening: the manufacturers and sponsors will pull the plug on this for PR-reasons. You don't seriously believe companies like Mercedes, Red Bull, Renault etc will allow their brands to be tainted by such a public show of support for the Bahrein regime?

F1 » Hamilton: I didn't 'over-defend'

The guy is a *****. You watch the video, you see Alonso less than a car length, not 10 or 15 meters, behind him, and Hamilton weaving left and right to make sure Alonso can't come alongside under breaking. Not only is it a clear violation of the rules, with the potential speed differences introduced by KERS, DRS and the degrading tyres, it's extremely dangerous to pull that kind of **** in open wheel racing. Just look back at the Webber/Kovalainen incident last year. There's a good reason why in forms of open wheel racing with major speed differences (indy/ovals) no form of blocking is allowed, not even once. 20 seconds is a very mild penalty for such stupidity, especially given the fact that he's already been warned once.
