Why are people acting like the FIA are just investigating this because they want to cheat/manipulate the championship?
We are talking about industrial espionage, in a championship all about technalogical differences. It is also a crime.
I'd much rather Mclarren and one of their drivers win the championship than Ferrari but if they are using concepts from Ferrari they don't deserve it. Anyone with any concept of ethics should know that using that information or allowing one of your colleagues to use it was wrong.

Bayliss tests 1098 F08.

There is nothing wrong with twins having a slight displacement advantage, otherwise they wouldn't be able to compete (without some other type of rule advantage as they have now). The problem I have is why 1200cc? Ducati are going to make a homoligation special that is 100cc bigger than the normal road bike while the Jap bikes will be based on (loosely) the bikes they sell to the masses. Why didn't the rules get set at 1100 or 1150cc, so Ducati had to race the 1098? After all, they were the ones who wanted to race what they sell.
