1 Crash and someone is calling out the "haga isn't a crasher" brigade? That's pathetic, Haga is irratic but you can't call him a crasher. Ben Spies has always been consistant in AMA yet has crashed twice so far.

I hope this doesnt become a USA fans vs the rest type barrier as Ben Spies is a very talented rider but he has only repeated what other riders have done, hes above no one yet.

Haga's full time debut season in wsbk won maybe the first 3 races I believe, Ben spies is comparable, not the best the worlds ever seen.

And that Yamaha is the best bike to be on in my eyes, Sykes isn't far behind on pace and come mid season i believe he'll be fighting for wins.

It performs in BSB too also.

Good showing from Rutter, think it shows that Rob Mac Yamaha is a bit of a dog! Hope they sort the bike out for Walkers sake especially, he should be right up there.

Kawasaki didn't develop that bike last season PSG1 did, they had Kawasaki Europe support which isn't much, it's just money. PBM Kawasaki for 2009 will be more an official factory effort, with the bikes being created in japan then given to them to race/develop with kawasaki's assistance. like Damo said, it's not that bad a bike as the AMA bike is a factory bike and doing well not that AMA is to be compared against WSBK. Badovini is good though, PSG1 isn't the best team to be with no matter what bike they have, only reason they had past success is Franki Chili!

Difference between ama and wsbk kawasaki is one is factory backed and one isn't! AMA Kawasaki is factory backed, they even get Yanagawa out at Daytona every year on a develepment crusade, probably helps him too in the JSB... he finished 3rd in the championship this year.

That bike is practically a motogp bike, I think Nakano will be a title contender if he gets along with the tyres. Still so underated. WSBK is going to be amazing next season!

It probably is easy for most 250 riders to ride a motogp bike 2 seconds or more off the pace. Like Dovi found last year easy in the begining but to find that last half a second it suddenly becomes very hard. I think he'll do well though but maybe the wrong bike based on his riding style, would love to see him up there though, think he'll find it hard if im honest.

They gave up on the screamer engine I believe. Good to see him "upto speed" But they have a mammoth task, arguably best rider line up they've had, need a strong engine, keep a good handling bike and build the bike round the tyres to have sucess next season which I believe they can do!

And for comparing Motogp Jerez race times this year were 1.40's to high 1.41's Lanzi being the pace setter in the wsbk Jerez test I dare say this isn't a true indication of how fast WSBK can go round jerez for 08.
