RECOMMENDED COMMENT
10 agree.
"considering his experience this is something I must be proud of" indeed Jorge. Linking with that I heard Jorge is in negotiations with Yamaha for next season and so far there is no deal agreed. I just hope Jorge can come to realise the value of having Rossi as a team mate and what he will gain racing him closely on 'the same' machinery.
Well done BBC for missing the 250 podium and interviews. Instead they put golf on at the same time they had golf on another red button channel and channel 2. Yes golf on 3 channels whilst cutting the end of the 250cc race coverage. Won't even bother commenting on the commentary.

Lorenzo, Stoner, Yamaha and Ducati.
2 agree.
Not read the previous 100 plus posts but find the suggested numbers startling that Duc are willing to pay Jorge twice the amount they pay Stoner. Stoner can ride the thing like no other. Jorge is talented but his ability to ride the Duc cannot be said to be twice that of stoner.

Engine rule to cut MotoGP celebrations
1 agrees.
Ah you MotoGP guys are so spoilt with the engine power.
Back to basics and most bikes will wheelspin easily if the rider puts his weight over the front. With a MotoGP bike I reckon you could short shift it too. So...come on guys! Don't bin your burnouts! OK?

MotoGP releases TV viewing figures.
If Belinda had listened in the very slightest (other than coming here with pep-talk and big promises) Cox would have NOT made this season. The mere fact he is 50% of the main commentator team (!!!!) tells me they might have listened to the race fans but majorly IGNORED them. AS another poster said about Cox..."how did he get that gig". There is a phrase here in the UK "Its not what you know, its who you know".

MotoGP releases TV viewing figures.
Here in the UK we have a word and its FUDGE. Are these UK viewing figures fudge? Because I notice for the UK they compare the figures back to the BBC. There is no comparison to overall MotoGP figures. I would be interested to see if the BBC's interection into out happyness with Eurosport has actually increased or decreased overall viewer numbers. I viewed MotoGP on Eurosport International which no longer shows MotoGP

Silverstone a 'man’s circuit', one of the fastest.
1 agrees.
Whelp, I kinda grimaced as I read the headlines ('a mans circuit')and then who was doing the talking. "Oh no Jezza please don't let it be you!" I thought. Ahh but it wasn't in the end. It was just more BBC commentator clap trap. I can sleep easy again tonight!

Xaus undergoes successful surgery
3 agree.
Rolf...i was thinking exactly the same. Post Rainey's career ending crash I thought all gravel traps had to be flat, by 'racing law'. Disgraceful that riders are still being injured this way!

Brookes apologises for Mallory mistake
4 disagree.
Outch. Just seen the footage on you tube. That accident happend from way back..just too fast and out of control imo. But that was just with Andrews. The other guys didn't need to go down as far as I could see it, although Chris Walker would disagree (he had heated words with Brookes after the crash on the footage) so what do I know!

Henry Surtees killed in F2 accident
I am sorry about this..I follow the bikes but was on youtube looking at 'most watched' and saw this accident. I am stunned because I saw two cars hit barriers and in both cases a rear wheel broke free. What the hell! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE.
