MotoGP » Crutchlow: 'Lorenzo style' doesn't work on Ducati

Moto' I didn't mean that as derogatory . We all remember tales of the Ducati riders of late "we tried this and it didn't make a difference, we tried that and it didn't make a difference". Maybe he has tried to ride it like he thinks it needs to be ridden, but it has made no difference to the times or the feedback from the bike is not there to tell him what the bike is actually doing through his body, Telemetry has its place but surely the best feedback is from the bike to the rider on the bike at the time. Maybe its the old Ducati story and he's having problems getting anything out of it with the changes he's made and is just hit a dead end and is looking for other ideas by way of other riding styles to see if they work when applied. I agree Cal can make 'odd' statements tho!

MotoGP » Crutchlow: 'Lorenzo style' doesn't work on Ducati

Confused by the headline and message here. Are we to believe that up till now anyone thought Lorenzo style would work with the Ducati??? I have ridden various bikes on the road and know each can be very different in its rider input needs, but why isn't Cal saying something like "I need to ride the bike the way it needs to be ridden" or is package so bad he can't tell how it needs to be ridden, and is looking at other peoples riding style for inspiration?

MotoGP » Lorenzo unsettled by electronics changes

I don't really know the extent to which various manufacturers have pushed for the limits but it is known Honda have a huge history of R & D into bikes and they can be most insistent on their MotoGP wishes. Maybe they have the most to gain. So. Wouldn't it be funny if Yam just went Open Class. What would Honda do then especially if Ducati goes Open Class too? What would happen if there was a Factory Race, but only one competitor? Then what would you do Honda? Be pleased?

MotoGP » Moody not part of BT Sport MotoGP coverage

I'm not bending over to take Dorna's exclusivity and more dollahs package, but when I watched Eurosport Toby Moody was the best commentator I ever heard. Eye on the ball as well as background info and genuinely passionate and motivated by the sport. Yes he squawked but so was I! This seems yet another boo boo by those in power but out of touch, similar to Cox with the BBC. If Ryder had been overlooked I could have agreed more as he harped on too much about the 'good old days' rather than the race at hand. He was more of a racing trainspotter. Anyway, another reason against getting BT Sport.
