I guess it's fair to say that he's done alright on equipment that's not quite on par with Golden Boy. I am a bit surprised and feel a little ripped off to learn that they don't both have the latest gear, and kind of raises the possibility of team orders again doesn't it?
Oh, for the Rossi fanboys, it's a rhetorical question.

Chris Vermeulen at Portimao WSBK test.

Let him ride the kwakka at Portugal and spare him from his last ride at Valencia! At least Suzuki will have more money to buy bodywork after that cross-eyed little spaniard turfs it up the road at every other round next year! Wuckin fankers!

You are a poor liar Billyblobmaryslug! I give you more credit than to think you honestly believe what you've just written. Haha. I'm a supporter, I don't feel cheated in any way. In fact many people would say **** the sponsors and team, they don't deserve him, and I'm disappointed that he's probably doubled his asking price at Duc with his recent efforts, because I really want to see him go to Honda or to a lesser extent, Yamaha. How's that fair? you ask. Easy, it's fair because he's competitive enough to be that close even with the missed rounds. I suppose next you'll question his talent? You've said nothing the rest of the fangirls haven't said and you're about as dull too! zzzzzzzzzz

Valentino Rossi's place in history - so far.
Schnertz - "I never wrote anything disparaging anyone here before". Just like you didn't 2 days ago in the story about Rossis qualifying lap! Have a read to remind yourself. I hope Uncle Pete isn't as disparaging as you, it might ruin the mental picture I have of the 'legend' himself. Hahahahaha hahaha haha!

Super Spies basks in WSBK title glory
3 agree.
Turion, your grasp on reality is tenuous to say the least! I'm not sure how you can say the R1 dominated the AMA series. Check again, I believe it was absolutely owned (again!) by a elderly Australian on one of those mediocre Suzukis. R1 useless? Not what I said, but overrated? Hell yes, by wannabe Rossi journos, the world over. Bloody kiddies, give 'em a computer and they think they know it all! Hahahahaha hahahahahaa hahahaha haha hahahahaha! PS. BSB... Big series? Sure, Big Hype full of aspiring James Toeslands and foreigners. Real Big!

Super Spies basks in WSBK title glory

Only spies performed on the R1. They have to spend so much money to make it competitive, it is cost prohibitive to provide support to anyone but the Italian based factory team. The UK altered the rules to make it possible to run the bike in competition without it grenading itself, Aussie SBK's Stauffer brothers can't get the bike to perform despite regularly dominating in the past on the old R1. Mladdin used the '08 gsxr to beat it at the start of the AMA ch'ship. Oh, and it is dog ugly and would be bagged senseless if Flossi rode a Moto Morini. I don't support the advantage Duc have had for the last 100yrs in this series and Ben Spies is obviously a very talented and down to earth bloke.

John, I don't think it will matter who wins, I'm sure you'll have an excuse either way. Rossi did it with a leg in the air, he should have showed us how (according to his fans) he always rides for the win, just like Philip Island, and the other time, and the time before that. Don't cheapen his accomplishments with excuses that you can apply to all riders.

Been killing me not to check results before watching the replay of race 2 this arvo! Definitely makes that piece of crap Yamaha look better than it is. Again, a bit sorry for Haga, but that's how the c0ck flops I s'pose. Great to see comparatively understated celebrations for a change, and not a chicken in site! Thank **** for that. Haha.
