F1 » Red Bull priming itself for Toro Rosso challenge

I am completely saddened by the pathetic whining about various drivers & riders that is so often reflected in these Comment pages... the talent possessed by ALL of the guys who are fortunate enough to make it to F1 or MotoGP is something that has been honed by many thousands of hours of hard work & grift over many many years and they should be respected for their determination at the least.

F1 » Kvyat pockets Driver of the Day award in China

perthBoy: Well he did better than grosion (just), but come on. Gifted a podium again and the world celerbrates a second class driver.
might i guess that you are from oz and a bit of sour grapes have been swallowed?
*Richard... whether PerthBoy is from Oz (sour grapes, etc) is irrelevant... as the fact is Dan Ricciardo drove a masterful race when compared with Kyviat's "pedestrian" race, also not forgetting DR's quali achievements. It's just a farce to suggest that Kyviat was Driver of the Day

MotoGP » Moto3: Marquez v Miller - round-by-round

Considering JACK MILLER WON TWICE AS MANY RACES AS MARQUEZ i believe he deserves at least a little respect. AND... the fact he gets upset when he doesn't win is what makes him strive harder than anyone else to be SO DAMN GOOD!!! Some of the previous comments are quite unnecessary (let alone some other adjectives i could use - but will resist)!! ALL THE HATERS... i don't understand you!!!!

F1 » Vettel ‘ready for next step’ after last Red Bull ride

I agree with ALL above comments, i just have ONE QUESTION though... DID Seb ACTUALLY end up starting behind Dan? OR... did Dan somehow end up lining up in-front of Seb, at the end of the pitlane? The reason i ask is that A. i noticed Dan left his pitbox roughly 1min before Seb (as the rest of the field were lining up on the grid, towards the end of the warm-up lap)! One would presume this left Dan ahead of Sebastian. Otherwise, surely they would have exited their respective pit-boxes in the reverse order. B. FOM-Tv never showed Dan passing Seb on the 1st lap (which one would presume an over-take such as this would have been worthy of a replay, or two)! Both of which leave me to believe Dan started AHEAD of Sebastian! Either-way... BLOODY AWESOME RACE FROM DANIEL RICCIARDO!! Any other comments or observations on this topic would be appreciated.

F1 » Vettel: You can’t be stupid with team-mates

re: BJR's comment... WTF... i cant believe you're seriously trying to suggest Vettel DIDN'T attempt to battle DR and keep him behind him (and suggest it was for the good of the team's sake - if Vettel really thought like that, he would not have passed Webber at Malaysia last year??). Not only did Vettel run DR off-track when DR passed him, he also attempted on a number of occasions to re-pass DR.

F1 » Vettel: I have to respect the decision

for starters... this is THE MOST ridiculous Comment Thread I've ever seen on Crash! @ME You really have NO-IDEA and should stay away from your keyboard from now on! And FINALLY... Button actually left about 1.5 to 2 car lengths, including the rumble-strip (which is considered a part of the track). So get over yourselves! Strictly going by the rule-book, Vettel's penalty was deserved. Jeezus - you people call yourselves F1 Fans???

F1 » Raikkonen pace hurts Vettel

(!) Talking about Vettel missing the podium coz he was "hurt" by Raikkonen's lack-of pace... the way I remember it is that: Mark Webber had to be asked by the team to "slow-up" the cars behind him, so that Vettel could make-up a bunch of time on those cars, before he pitted on his "alternative" strategy(note: the alternative strategy was put in place by Red Bull, to try to recover from the horribly bad grid position Vettel faced, due to being snail-like in Quali). Therefore Vettel would've been lucky indeed, to finish higher than 7th without @aussiegrit's "help"! So really... it's a bit rich to say that Vettel was unlucky(or it was Raikkonen's fault) that he missed the podium!
