That is so vague, how do you decide if an idea came from Ferrari? "Oh look, it's got four wheels, so does the Ferrari, so McLaren must be punished!"
More soberly, I doubt they'd be able to come up with anything that McLaren couldn't contest.

Donington reclaims F1 as British GP moves.

Much better circuit than Silverstone, glad to see that there will be a big improvement to the facilities, but I'm a bit nervous about the 'track lengthening'. Hope they just tack a bit on to the Melbourne Loop and leave the core of the track unchanged. Other obvious one I can see is an inwards loop near the Old Hairpin.

Smith column: Victory slips away...

The final result notwithstanding, this race should be a big boost to Bradley's confidence. One of these days, and soon I think, it will click. You really have to put not winning this one down to bad luck, and nothing more. Riding cautiously on the first lap or so of the restart may have cost dear, but as he says he still picked up points, that is much better than wanting to keep up so much that he bins it (as a few races ago).

That''s the way to start Bradley. Now please please please keep it upright and go forward from here. Fingers crossed.

Smith column: Now it's my turn...
2 disagree.
I think Bradley's great, and that he will win soon enough. I think it was obvious in the 125 race that it wasn't only Bradley who had had set-up problems - otherwise why did only two get away at the front, and not two you'd expect? I also think that Bradley will be back closer to the front when he isn't carrying injuries. Hopefully that will be before the summer break, but if not well there's plenty of time then to heal. Big congrats to Scott though, it was great to see a Brit win at Donington.

Donington Park: Qualifying times.
2 agree.
Hope it''s dry tomorrow - not only because I''m going but mainly for James'' sake. He can''t seem to get a tyre for the wet conditions, and those crashes looked like frustration more than anything to me.

Toseland to battle for Britain.
1 agrees.
I'll be there to cheer the Brits on, and Rossi of course! Might be popping into a fishing store on Saturday to get my rain shelter if the forecast stays rainy.

UK leads increase in TV audience.
2 agree.
I watch on the BBC, I'm much happier this year now that they are making an effort to show the 125 and 250s. But I wish they'd use the same commentators for the MOTOGP too! I quite like Stavros, but Charlie Cox winds me up a bit. And when Stavros was going on about how Rossi had made the wrong choice for tyres I wanted to slap him - he seems to have shut up about that now for some reason!

I don't think there's any inconsistency between saying that a driver is exceptionally talented, and at the same time inexperienced and thus prone to errors.

Dream win but Pedrosa wants more.
2 agree.

I agree with several of the comments above that Dani only wins when he gets away early, seen it several times now, and I've never seen him win from a battle - unlike Casey or Vale. It makes for a boring race, thank god Casey and Vale were having a scrap for second or it would have been really boring. Mind you I think if they showed more of the midfield battles it would be more entertaining, instead of only showing when someone falls off or a move is completed succesfully.

Congrats to Kubica, he's someone capable of winning the championship in a competitive car for sure. I really like his driving.
