Twissta Throttle....Man!
RECOMMENDED COMMENT

It is so sad that these young up and coming racers (Stoner, Pedrosa) are pitiful when it really comes down to it. Getting paid millions is just that, to hang it all out well maybe you need to go back and race on a more friendlier atmosphere LiL boy this is the pinnacle of racing if you and your team manager don't like it go HOME this is a big boy sport and if and of you racers out there are sacred of contact, close calls etc... chose another sport this ain't the school play millions of dollars are at stake here so grow up dude or get out cause you can't spook Rossi he's been there done that and got the cookie

Rossi wins - on four wheels.
2 agree.
Hey morgue and Nigel since you are seemingly the most reasonable aside for a few others I got something for you too think about. Yamaha's frame was too rigid last year and the brigdestones have more grip. I predict they will have too deal with the chatter and make the frame with more flex right away
after that it will pretty much smooth sailing for him to further develop the 08 watch and see if we don't have some upset folks around here bashing the MAN.....

to concentrate without any interference from other inputs
it's on him to develop the 08 model. What will you say then, with that said if he leaves the youngins will have something to work with and it will be on them to take the 800 to another level

I agree Mourgue, remember Rossi took the Yamaha 04 to wc when everyone gave up on it not only is he mentally drained after countless request to Michelin and no improvement regardless of track record of past, we are in a new era 800cc not 990cc which they had plenty of data. it's a clean slate now and Brigdestone came out on top with a better tire. Did mixing rubber, overnite tires delivery cloud their true abilities
to create a tire that last hinder them? As it looks it did they relied to much on 990 data and never made an attempt to prepare for what came next the 800cc, different monsterIf Rossi can do that with the 04 model he can do it with the 800cc. he's isolated himself and team

West: It's been a crazy year!
1 agrees.
1 disagrees.
West did a great job coming off a 600 to a full blown Gp bike
too palce 7 in his short stint of racing on a bike not sorted for his style was admirable. I cheer him on because I think he has the ability too set the bike up for his way of riding, which makes a big difference in confidence. If anyone that rides a bike knows it takes a minute before you are comfortable let alone at this level. I believe he will be a force to reckon with next year.

125: Smith's impressive debut.
2 agree.
1 disagrees.
I like Smith too, he has shown allot of progress since he started. A little more time on the new bike with enough laps under his belt to help him understand the bike, set up etc.. cause I am sure the Aprilla is a very different monster. he will be a force to reckon with. Besides being young and hungry to learn he should easily mold into the racer he desires to be. He's got a team that is ready to tune him and supply parts to his needs I think he is a racer to watch next year

Toseland 'turns into a MotoGP rider'.
3 disagree.
I made a post on page two and was surprised too see some disagreements to what was posted, obviously you have never really rode a bike (race/track) because no one suspension setting will work the same all the time.... So think before you leap, there might not be a net at the bottom to catch you

Chaz returns to the AMA.
1 agrees.
On totally new tracks etc... To do what he did in a short time will surely open doors for him in the future. Factory support teams are just that they have the money and expertise to throw money at an idea and develop it at any cost sometimes. Smaller teams have to effectively manage their finances to carry them through the season and maintain the basic components to keep the bike running let alone RD. So try and understand the roles of some of these smaller teams and their roles in this sport. They may be the platform for just such moves to other teams with more money etc...to further develop the next blend of riders. IF we didn't have these teams at this level we would not have many racers>

Chaz returns to the AMA.
1 disagrees.
My earlier post on page two truly showed that many on this forum don't,haven't or never will ride competitively or enjoy track days seriously enough to understand this sport at all. It is a shame that many make comments and observations without really experiencing the thrill of controlled speed and it's given limitations. Here goes two part comments and statement. One I happen to know Chaz Davies suspension guy and aside from being a total gentleman the man knows his *****. The Celtic team for me did an excellent job this year against the big boyz who had much larger budget's than the smaller teams, in which Chaz Davies debued on and placed respectfully, Mind you this was his first CONT'D

Toseland 'turns into a MotoGP rider'.
2 agree.
3 disagree.
If you have had any real experience I would think your evaluations would be quite different. Oh by the way I am a up and coming racer who understands the dynamics of setting up suspension, honing racing skills and the overall package and what it takes to be competitive at just the club level, let alone the premier class MOTOGP
what works today on track may not work tomorrow consider track temp, tires and all the other elements before you make unwarranted comments
Well chew on that you self proclaimed experts
and try to come back with some descent comments please

It's a shame that JT and JL are getting bashed about results with no more than 72hrs. of seat time on PROTOTYPE MACHINES that require more understanding and finesse than there previous bikes
For some of you vet's on here I tip my hat to you for your rational thinking and comments. For the rest of you I wonder even if you ride at any level, because if you did you would realize that even at your level it takes time and many different suspension settings to get your bike right to even lower your unofficial lap times doing track days. So I say grow up and admit that you don't have the faintest idea what it takes to become competitive at this level motogp or any level cont'd
