Twissta Throttle....Man!
RECOMMENDED COMMENT

It is so sad that these young up and coming racers (Stoner, Pedrosa) are pitiful when it really comes down to it. Getting paid millions is just that, to hang it all out well maybe you need to go back and race on a more friendlier atmosphere LiL boy this is the pinnacle of racing if you and your team manager don't like it go HOME this is a big boy sport and if and of you racers out there are sacred of contact, close calls etc... chose another sport this ain't the school play millions of dollars are at stake here so grow up dude or get out cause you can't spook Rossi he's been there done that and got the cookie

This is what racing use to be, watch this video and you will agree..
some of these guys on here have witness these races back in the day, when the field was full of racers, riding with the bit in their mouths doin the darn thang!!
Fast forward to today GP racing has for the powers that be.. become big business and huge income resources.....After you watch the video you will know what I mean Peace

Stoner: We kept getting faster and faster...

And now they are using it to there advantage. Part of it is good cause it keeps serious injury too a minimum xcept for the Kato death
but we all wouldlike to see the finese, talent exsposed like it once was.
is how much finese does it take to ride a Gp bike now with the help of TC, probably allot! this is big business guys and it al boils down too money and how much can be made in a short period of time (season)Rossi, Pedrosa, Hayden and all the other stars have brought big bucks to the table for the companies they ride for which creates these rivalries among the fans and teams and even countries. Who got the best riders and from where so Fam have fun and share our opinions

Parker I was just addressing your comment about groupies up top in your 1st post, I too have been watching racing for awhile 10yr+- would drool when they would play it on wide wrld of sports. In europe you or they had this kinda of sport on tv more than we had or I even knew about. So the few races I saw Doohan and the rest race was the most exciting thing since sex LOL
i hope u were not offened
I think it is very healthy for the sport that Hayde06, Stoner07 won it creates challenge for everyone. Legend I agree wit u too but Ducati has paid their dues earlier when other teams were better. The Duc was a beast to ride to much power and now we have tc which has tamed it cont'd

PARKER......TO FURTHER ANSWER YOUR STATEMENT I have been riding for the last ten years or so just got serious about racing sense I have been doing allot of trackdays with friends. I left the canyons becauSe to many of my riding buddies have killed themselves or almost killed themselves trying to ride like they were on the track. Latr to find out that some of them were trying too keep up with me so, I feel that at the level that I ride requires a controlled environment for this cause we have all become faster and better riders becasue weall left the canyons
For the record I get eaten up at the tracks sometimes so these guys who ride GP area allthe greatest

PARKER I have been riding for about 6 years and training for the next race season at my local tracks so when you make statements about the average person don't ride/race bikes make sure you know what you are talking about
Stoner got what he worked for this year and for that I say job well done the ducati for years was slag and now it has arrived. Rossi on the other hand has proved himself over and over again with leaving Honda for the said slow, incapable Yamaha and won it two years in a row!! FACT now for whatever reason Yamaha got caught wit their pants down. For, anyone who thinks Yamaha will sit back and let this pass them bye, I need to see it before I believe it. next year

Updated: Chaz withdraws.

Will great observation didn't think of that so are you a implying Cahz to ride for ducati as a test rider
if so that would give him the ability to catch up with the other team riders who have been riding for awhile and also help him learn how too set up the bike since it is a different beast. But very seldom do test riders become fulltime riders for the teams in which they test for which seems rather ????? to me since they have the most experience with the bike

Updated: Chaz withdraws.
3 disagree.
With the amount of track time that he got and the lack of parts as Barros menyioned in his interview I think Chaz did very well. before you blast me read the aricle and maybe you will understand my position. The bike beat him up real quick and I hope that Elais can bring more sponsorship money to the team so that they will have suspesion parts, suspesion tech and for team owner to soften up a little and listen to his riders. They are the ones who are riding the bikes Chaz will get another chance also what can you say about a young man that took on riders who have been on their bikes all year for a couple of years to a guy who has ahd only a few test and 4 races

Chaz back to his best.

Another thing that was absurd was that I didn't have a spare suspension. Can you imagine a MotoGP team not having a spare front! It doesn't exist. I had two complete bikes and that was that. If I wanted to play around with a setting, I'd have to strip one of the bike

I can't understand how a MotoGP team wouldn't have such a tech. Since the beginning of the year I've asked for this and Luis D'Antin, the team owner, has just blown me off. It's stupid. I don't, honestly, think that I could always beat Stoner. The kid is very fast and no one could have taken this title from him, but in the preseason tests I was always very close to him, and sometimes even in front of him.
