I am very disappointed in Stoner and his behavior running off and pouting cause he didn't qualify that good. That convinced me that he is not wc material. In this sport you must be ready to take the bitter with the sweet. And if you are not happy with things don't let the public see it. Rossi put on a great show even when he was attacked he to me showed tact,charisma and diplomacy. He just buckled down with his team and went to work. A true champion. Stoner pay close attention a lesson to be learned and to think I really liked Stoner and thought he would be a great champion some day. Mark you made a comment regarding the praises Rossi got for switching from Honda to Yamaha and won a Wc title and now everyone is on the new 800cc. The factor you left out was: With the 990 there was a ton of data to work with and engineers were more familiar with the characteristic etc. The new 800cc does not have much data available yet. prototypes created by computer and what is, r two different things. If it worked via the simulation (computer design), it could never take the place of the physical bike with rider doing laps. If the latter be true there would be no such thing as R&D, nor evolution of parts. So too make that statement would be premature. any thou ghts

Hey Gromm, I agree it won't win him the championship it's a bit too late I was just pointing out that they had too abandon the original way that they were going and how quick they have made some adjustments to get on the right track to become competitive against the Ducati's, even though this is only one race that they have shown some qualities that they didn't have a few races ago. Michelin,Yamaha,Rossi and JB have done a lot in a few short weeks, good work guy's let's make it difficult for the rest of the teams and get them too start to worry about next year. That will distract everyone who is watching them to loose concentration on the task at hand? Just something to talk about

Today was a great example of a champion and team putting the proper elements( tires ) together as a complete package for next year. Changing direction mid yr. and getting up to speed to me is a true mark of the technical excellence that Rossi and crew have demo all of his career. It is the Rider who feeds the info. to the engineers, to the factory etc... although it's only one race that we have seen improvement we should wait too see the further growth from here. Today was a glimpse for what is too come. This is what makes Rossi for me a true champion and yes he does extend gratitude unlike Stoner to anyone that beats him, that character of the Man! Stoner don't get c*cky?

Everyone acts like it's their money, I think it will be a great idea for a race at night. By the way this ain't f1 so quit comparing the two, remember it's two wheels to four dah? the night race will add a little something different than the reg. season and guess what no matter how much s___t you talk it's going to happen. so if you are so much against it DON'T WATCH THE %@#@^&$^$^ RACE...! Just to throw in a monkey wrench into the equation what if Stoner has a opps! and cannot finish the season ? could Rossi be using a different form of mental chess by making the public annoucnement regarding conceding to the championship? never say Never this is a world of uncertainties I am in no way trying to put a jinx on Stoner or trying to put fault on him just wanted too bring soemthing else to the table to talk about

NOone really know about the 800 enough too say much other than for those teams that got it right the first time. will they be able to advance on their development time will tell.
