MOTOGP » Pedrosa passes Hailwood for Honda wins

Mike Hailwood is my all time favourite rider and I don't believe there will ever be another like him. Dani is not the most charismatic rider in the world (who will ever forget him refusing to shake hands with Simoncelli) but all credit to the wee bugger, he is riding the wheels off the bike and keeping the championship interesting. Well done high pockets.

RR » Dunlop hits back over Guy Martin jibe

The fact is that the current crop of road racers like Guy Martin and Michael Dunlop couldn't ride out of the way of the guys who raced on the roads before the roads and circuits were considered different. They are ****e, and you don't need to race to see that before anybody asks how many UGPs I've won. Joey was an absolutely brilliant man and a hero of mine, but he couldn't hold a light to Gary Cowan, Foggarty or Hislop when it came to the roads. The current crop of road racers are the fastest at it because they aren't worth a f*ck anywhere else and they happen to turn up. If they are so special why don't they show it on circuits. They can't, end of story. Road racing doesn't sort out the men from the boys, it just sorts out the biggest eejit. That brings us back nicely to Martin and Dunlop.....

MOTOGP » Valentino Rossi 'very worried' after 'negative' test

It doesn't matter whether you're a VR fan or Ducati fan, the combination just doesn't work. Unfortunately the Ducati has made Rossi look ordinary (not to mention JB). What it has also shown however, is just what a stellar talent Stoner is, no wonder he was such a narky little b#stard for a couple of seasons, the Ducati was impossible to ride but he got on with the job and rode round it's short comings. Action speaks louder than words, I think the best VR can hope for this year is to barge his way to the front after the start and lead for a couple of laps. The King is dead blah blah blah...........

MOTOGP » Rossi: Short-term 'inconclusive', long-term 'hope'

Looks like Vale has spat his dummy out once too often. He did it with Honda, and Yamaha set him up with a great bike. He did it with Yamaha because they wanted to keep a talented young rider in Jorge Lorenzo, imagine. Then he took his whole team with him to Ducati and they haven't got a clue what to do with the bike. In Stoner's worst year with Ducati he won three races, and the whole season he looked as though he was at least trying to ride the thing. Vale is done, there. Excuses are like ****holes, everybody's got one.
