Far as I'm concerned the jury's still out on the style / new format - I'm not finding it quite so easy to navigate, but then I was used to the old version.
But I'll tell you what I like, what I really REALLY like ............ In the old version the banner ads and stuff often used to obscurethe text when viewing with Firefox and (touch wood) So far it doesn't. Woot!
I don't like that:
You have to add a pictoral emoticon from the line below. They're not so subtle. But you try putting semicolon minus end bracket and see what happens.
If Stinky's right you can vote repeatedly for a comment - including your own. (How sad is that)?

Qualifying times - Jerez.
1 agrees.
Bet either Dani or Jorge lob it. Hope they don't and it won't add to the race if they do. Still suspect they might. Plenty of scope for a bit of 'red mist' and 'needle'in several quarters, so there could be quite a bit of fairing banging all round.

Free practice times (3) - Jerez.

Less than one second between the first 14! Incredible. Promise of a good race there then. Sadly it looks like whatever bug's hit James T its having a big effect. Still, I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to go out running a temp of 39C+ and stuffed with antibiotics to be able to reach their normal 100%. He’ll be willing enough. But if his fitness is off his body simply can’t give the vital last few %. Fkn shame, he deserves better after what he achieved in Qatar, but that counts for nowt in the real world

Spanish GP blog: Saturday.
1 agrees.
You'd have more chance of getting buy in if you rephrased that as *amongst* the best of the best Lolaa. Dani is good, pure prejudice to deny the facts, but best of all? That's a bit more open to doubt.

New Bridgestone qualifier, front to follow?
Harry x & Baron you got me thinking..... (i) In a way qualifying's like a separate event innit? It affects the race because of start positions but it doesn't reflect/predict race performance all that well. ('Cos of Mitchstone differences already covered) Well, think it through .... (ii) (In all seriousness) - IF they did get rid of qualifying they could run 2 races per event instead. Sorting out start places is just detail ... lots of other ways to do that. Race one *might* be trickiest, after that any permutation of past performance should work. I wonder if I can sell this to Dorna? (c) Look its copyright!

Rossi: Fun and fast.
2 disagree.
Is there a precedent for one manufacturer filling the podium at this level? With Casey suffering serious front end chatter, suddenly its not unthinkable.

New Bridgestone qualifier, front to follow?
Hi Chronical My post was a counter to an earlier one the Bridgestone should ignore Rossi and *only* prioritise Stoner and maybe a couple of last years Bridgestone riders. The point being highlighted is that (for the reasons above) I reckon ignoring Rossi's needs is not an option for 'em. But, no, I don't think Stoner's going to get inferior rubber. Bridgestone will give them both the best they can to suit their styles.

Reckon Dirk's gonna be proved right about Neuk (Neuky?) 'tho having gone like **** off a shovel the first time he was turned loose on Yukio's bike last year he dragged behind a bit in later races. I expected Yukio to be higher up the standing mind - He was swift in Phillip island test.

Haga: WSBK to out thrill MotoGP.
1 agrees.
Nori's very probably right - WSB could well be the best series unles- hell I can't see what's been typed now for these sodding popup ads! - Sorry - unless the massive Ducati motors make the series a big twin only event again. Don't reckon the comments on Stoner are fair - he was the only one really fast on the MGP Ducati, beside Honda & Yamaha couldn't get enough power so how's that down to electronics? My big worry? WSB will be brilliant - but if you don't shell out for SKY you won't get to see it - The 2007 WSB DVD from Duke was half the length of BSB coverage. I'm far from impressed all round.
