Far as I'm concerned the jury's still out on the style / new format - I'm not finding it quite so easy to navigate, but then I was used to the old version.
But I'll tell you what I like, what I really REALLY like ............ In the old version the banner ads and stuff often used to obscurethe text when viewing with Firefox and (touch wood) So far it doesn't. Woot!
I don't like that:
You have to add a pictoral emoticon from the line below. They're not so subtle. But you try putting semicolon minus end bracket and see what happens.
If Stinky's right you can vote repeatedly for a comment - including your own. (How sad is that)?

Martin announces Rob Mac deal.
1 disagrees.
He hasn't been on as reliable a machine as Ellison, that's for sure. I just hope its not a case of frying pan to fire 'tho, cos whilst a lot of Karl's DNFs on the Rob Mac Yam have had rather a lot to do with Mr Harris lobbing it at the scenery, quite a few have been down to problems with reliability / component failure.

Crutchlow moves to World Supersport.
3 agree.
Odd they're not hanging on to Broc Parks tho innit? He's done well for 'em for two seasons. And Foret's none too shoddy. Its not a bad bike 'tho and as said above and in related posts yesterday, it ain't a bad way for Cal to learn the circuits with a fraction less pressure on him.

Go Kiyo Go Be well pleased to see you on the podium yet again. Chuffed for Sofuoglu too. That''s got to be a bit of a personal landmark for the lad.

Vallelunga - Superpole qualifying times.
2 disagree.
I don't quite get this. Against both Xaus & Checa it says 'Crash' - no time - yet they're still in the top 15. I'm guessing they had the time which corresponds to the position before the Crash. OK. But if that's so why bother to say 'Crash' instead? Or does it mean something more like: The time they had was good enough to place them here but they've had such a severe crash they're not expected to actually start?

End of an era for Hayden, Pedrosa pressure?
Honda have won themselves so much good will with the fans crapping on one of their most loyal and popular riders they must have a plan that goes: Spain and Italy are bigger markets for Honda than the English speaking countries and this will improve bike sales, after all the *only* thing bikers & race fans care about is success on the track. I wonder if we'll ever find out who they sack when reality catches up with them? Don't suppose so. That bit'll be done quietly.

WSS: Parkalgar reveals 2009 'Brit list'.
2 agree.

The key thing for Johnathan Rea tho (at least the way it was presented at the time he signed) was that he was more or less assured a place in Hannspree''s WSB line up for 2009 if he did well and learnt the tracks in this season. For someone of Cal''s calibre to go to ''second rank'' outfit in WSS might not be such a smart career move. I''m *very* sure he has the skills to hack it in WSS. But without a first class bike he could be limited, then drop into obscurity.
