Max power to destroy all the coming season! A couple of laps and at that pace! The man will only get faster. TdC, he has had some work done to his hair and looks better for it. With Bayliss off with a cracked one, Max has to be favourite for the most consistant fast laps during testing. Who knows, he may get the NEW Pireli's with Troy out for a while?

Harry, I hope that Max and Ruben get on well considering that Max hasn't been showing his pre-Madonna ways the last year and that the pair can work together, pool their findings and be a real force of strong willed racers. Mind you if we are to believe that Ducati don't like the Factory team getting a kicking from the satelites there could be fireworks as neither Ruben or Max want to be Bridesmaids. I hope that Ducati don't run away with any advantage or struggle like Greg Levilla did with the Gsxr with a sock on the air intake as we want as level racing as poss so there is no advantage/ disadvantage to make someones Championship look sour.

It all starts today then! It's good that something with the bikes is happening as I'm wishing this month away for the start of racing next month. Troy B running the new development tyres is to be expexted but would have thought Pireli would want more info and get all Ducati boys to run them but it's their choice/ contracted who does. If the Ducati's dont have a nasty advantage with the new 200cc, I feel that the Yamaha with Nori will be the one as he is the only consistant front runner knowing the bike inside out on 2nd year and HE DOES DESERVE IT BY NOW! I still want Max to destroy all the other Ducati boys though!

Is/was it true as I was led to believe that Team Roberts WERE NOT allowed to tune the engine and had to rely on the Chassis to get any benefit that in reality led them to be a backmarker from the off last season? Lets hope they do get a Desmo from Ducati with Kenny in the saddle as it would be good to see just what an Ace like Kenny could squeeze out of it? If he had a Duke and failed to get anything worthwhile it would prove Casey as god or if Kenny could get anything would prove that he is just extremly good Anything that gets another team onto the grid is good for MotoGp as it seems tha WsbK is going to field almost everyone else.

Ma, as Morgue said "We would sit around drinking a cup of tea" not killing each other. Just because I don't agree with your comments or who you follow doesn't make me your enemy or anyone else. It's supposed to be a discussion thread not a monkey's tea party with chainsaws! Chill Wo/man (delete as applicable!) I don't dislike Hopper at all and would be happy for him if he strung a couple of wins together or even won next years Championship. Another year, another Champ would be Ace exitement. It's only towards the end of this year that he has shown a form of consistancy to get near the front, and I think thats Due to Chris V's input with the bike not Hoppers.

In2Stella, prove otherwise that Hopper is capable of being chief development rider. The Suzuki was in the wilderness with Hopper at the helm. Hopper has a miserable CV in the top flight. Only this year did he finally get to the first real losers step(2nd) and his team mate pulls a win. Hopper is a rider capable of getting the most out of the package BUT CANNOT show the way to make it faster. Thats why Hopper is just Quick and not clever enough to keep his aces up his sleeve. He needs to drop his "attack, attack" mindset that holds him back.

Hopper will just take the Kwak backwards as thats all he can do. He only looked half the part at the start of his Factory years thanks to Kenny Roberts. Without Kenny the bike went backwards until Suzuki started to listen To Vermuelen and started to appear at the front so Johnny throws his toys to become No.1 at Kwak.. Hopper impressed me by finishing a race that he was holding 2nd from the opening laps ans STILL finished He has had too many years in the top flight with respectable machinery and hasn't shown anything other than his ability to try too hard and go backwards. Lets hope his marriage turns him into a more settled character like Casey this year. I wish him the best...But..

Marty, you and me should stop living in the past and accept the present. At present there is a dominant Champion this year with no personality to hold a party in the sandpits every time he won. He had no tyre advantage and the only bloke with a similar package won ONR race. So like 2001,2,3,4+5 it was the guy who finished 2nd and third in the championship who was the real champ not the bloke who won it. So by their own words Vale wasn't the champ for 5yrs, he was just lucky to have a works bike every year with a top Engineer and the best hand builts Michelin could ship. ?, Sete's injuries from when Stoner Punted him and stole his ride left his shoulder so bad that another crash may have left him unable to wave his arms like a bad soap actor (just like when Vale punted him at Jerez 2005) so he decided correctly so not to race anymore. Pity.
