If the Michelins turn out to be the tyre for this year Hayden is the STRONGEST for the title. He's up against Danni, his only real threat riding Michelins and all the new boys from 250 and Wsbk. I really would like to see Hayden as Champion again as he still has faith and never gives up hope. It was Hayden who kept a cool head at Vallencia '06 with points BEHIND Vale to take a great 3rd place and wear the crown.
His only threat is from Casey who looks like he's going to destroy everyone again judging by the testing times. I know tests don't win Championships but it looks too likely again this year.

Hayden recovering after surgery.

Morgue, you either haven't been watching the WsbK this year or somehow never saw that Vale was the one upset that his tools didn't do him justice this year. Biaggi sour this year? Possibly for 30 seconds after he slipped and let Haga take 2nd race Donnington win from him on the last corner. He recovered from it and was shaking Nori's hand by the old hairpin. Biaggi smiled more this year than any other. If he was pissed, he was good enough to never let the camera's/public see it.

Bayliss plots farewell glory.

Simon, you admit that this series isn't the pinnicle that MotoGp is so who cares who's in as long as the racing is good? If the new pups can't beat the "too old to be any good" guys then they have nowhere else to go as the next rung is MotoGp and they wont be able to cut the mustard. It's only testing and we have seen too many times before that testing sometimes equates to nothing come the drop of the flag.

Plato: It appalled me...
1 disagrees.
It's nice to see that plato is aware that technology on a modern day vehicle prevents the average Monkey from rapping the car round a tree. Remember when driving a vehicle you are carrying a loaded weapon ready to kill. Alot of people forget this and receive a painful reminder when they lose control and end up in a spinning fairground ride that used to be the reliable friend that takes them to work. If your really unlucky you get a free pedestrian under the wheels and a stretch at her majesty's pleasure. We cant go back to Bacolite steering wheels that impaled the driver on impact, but modern vehicles are TOO friendly for their own good.

Aegis, a "pillow biter" is the receiver in bed. Usually aimed at a homosexual. As for boxing, Ricky Hatton had a gun put to his head to accept £5 million and the chance to believe he was the Daddy at Welterweight. He came up short as expected by everyone exept the blinkered English public that were never shown the true skills of Floyd Mayweather on Tv before this fight and were conned into thinking he stood a remote chance of success. Boxing is the "Noble art" and it is a superb sport when the competitors are equal and VERY, VERY ugly when it isn't. As far as the Award goes, Ricky should have won it as he has a great personality and gets more general media coverage than the others.

Stoner surgery-less.

Gsxrman, I think that Wack is having a little "pop" at the 990 fan (Ducati?!) for stating that Casey won't win anything again. Marco failing to post at LEAST 1 fast lap while trying different setups seems unreal as this all adds to Casey being the real deal as another known talent has been exposed as struggling. But it is just testing and we don't know exactly what they are testing, and never will be told either! Alot of Rossi Cheerleaders are English and thats why I think he made the statement about "boo's and rattles" at Donnington.

Tamada in WSBK switch.

Another fine rider to the series. The ratings for this years WsbK will reach new heights just as competition at the front will. I know that alot think that too many "old Guard" are in it now but it WILL lead to racing as you boys want to see it. Pete + Otto, if these guys weren't here as some sort of benchmark as to high high you have to jump over the bar to succeed, the next "new" young champ could have an easy season in WsbK and then get torn to shreds by the Dogs in MotoGp. Too many of you are looking forward to seasons start more than the MotoGp's... Some will never admit it

Stoner: We could have won with this.
1 agrees.
1 disagrees.
Djh, the comment about 50,000 leaving when Vale pulled into the pits is a dire insight into modern society. If you were there to see the spectacle of men risking their career/ life for their (rider) satisfaction AND to please the crowd then great. If on the other hand you were there to watch a special person in his multi coloured leathers waltz about and win by a country mile then you will be disapointed now, and probably alot in the future. It's like the hype in England here when we had Fogarty. It was packed at Brands Hatch to the brim of 50% "new" watchers that were their to see what they were TOLD to watch, not what they WANTED to watch.

Simon, I edited the above post because it implied that you and others were Vale cheerleaders and thats not what I meant. Simon, and others that don't like Casey, why do you dislike him? I don't mind what you write, it would be nice to know if you dislike him because he's the new champ or if there is just something that grates you about him? Like the way I would tell you I admire Vale's skill but think he's a false clown pre-madonna.
