If the Michelins turn out to be the tyre for this year Hayden is the STRONGEST for the title. He's up against Danni, his only real threat riding Michelins and all the new boys from 250 and Wsbk. I really would like to see Hayden as Champion again as he still has faith and never gives up hope. It was Hayden who kept a cool head at Vallencia '06 with points BEHIND Vale to take a great 3rd place and wear the crown.
His only threat is from Casey who looks like he's going to destroy everyone again judging by the testing times. I know tests don't win Championships but it looks too likely again this year.

'Fantastic fun' for reborn Rossi.
1 disagrees.
Cara, my wife loves Vale and I'm a Max fan so you can imagine some of the sundays we used to enjoy after the racing when one person on cloud 9 and the other ready to kill. Enjoy the racing. You shouldn't lose your love for it. I know some here are throwing stones but as long as it doesn't turn into "Funk you" aimed at anyone it's fun to read. I am hoping for Pedrosa to take 2nd in the championship and Casey only has another 5 titles on the bounce to win to beat Mick/Vale record and Casey will only be 26! Vale needs the next 6, by then he will be 34, nearly bald wearing a goatee with a foul temper blaming the bike, tyres AND anyone that listens!
Ps, Dovi will be mauled by Jorge

Casey said in MCN he couldnt understand why the crowd at a charity auction went mental for his signed gear. Its because Vale is a bloke who just loves to races and gives 110%. Posted by Cara (51 minutes ago) Cara, I don't read MCN because its the "Daily Sport" in disguise! Do you mean Casey can't work out why people would want his (Casey's) gear or Valentino's? I would set fire to anything with No.46 on it, so to me and quite a few others it would be worthless. To you and my wife you would treasure it and put it next to the wedding photos on the wall

Stoner: I just didn't have the feeling.

Thats exactly what I mean about "where were they?" They (anything other than 1st-4th) weren't even shown on the goggle box. What a tough time both teams had and how only the last couple of races with Suzuki doing so well they get dropped from conversation like a hot potato because they weren't nearly weiners

Andy D, nice to see you still around. Misselin, how do you think Hopper felt after the race? He thought he was on the up after the last performances to feel a big slap in the face and run behind the leaders PLUS the bike he's hoping to jump ship to and be the next King of the pack have a terrible day at the office. Do you think Hopper has been doing well this year because the engineers listen to Chris as without input from the other rider from Suzuki (Kenny and Chris) he has been out in the wilderness?

Stoner vs Rossi : Rossi is better. Any arguement???? Posted by Gus Gus (3 minutes ago) Gus Gus, you cant compare the two as they are on different machines with different tyres. The only comparison is that Vale's nearest rival with Michelins was right up his cack pipe 'til the end and the nearest Bridgestone runner wasn't even in the same camera shot. So Vale is good on Michelins and Casey is the Mack Daddy on Bridgestones. It would be fair to say that as the only comparison is with your rival with the nearest package, Casey is the new King?

Jimmy, that coming together was a great start to the season for drama. The acting made me feel a bit sick tho! It's just that Vale should have asked if he was ok rather than mocking him. Sandbagging is part of racecraft as much as Ali called it his "rope a dope". It's because Danni knew not to run at the early parts that the tricks were being played by both he and Vale as thats why Hayden was coming on strong in the mid section as Nicky never knows anything but flat out. Too many people showed Vale their full hand by trying to run and showing where the package they were on left the door open for Vale. Pity we didn't get to see the fight for 9th, it looked interesting.

Hayden seeks friendly fire 'redemption'.

I hope that Hayden has a good result this weekend as he has had some bad luck, thrown it himself and also has to face the struggle that Michelin's either DON'T work the way that previous seasons would sugest or Honda didn't believe that Ducati would be the force to fight this year. Lets hope that ALL Yam and Honda boys finish so we can see if it's the tyre's letting the package down or the bike OR both. We know Hayden is the consistant runner and it would be good to see where Vale, Colin and Danni finish against him to evaluate where the fault lies for Yam and Honda.

Gromm, it's not that Max has been dragged "out the closet" as thats Vale's next trick
The above mentioned foul tempered perfection PeaC*CK
(even I know he's special kind o' freak!) was that Vale isn't the only one who was first real loser in his first year of big boy racing. It was just a fact that was brought up.

Cont. The similarity between Vale and Casey as Zydon meant is that ALL crashes were through falling off or pushing too hard on the front.
