If the Michelins turn out to be the tyre for this year Hayden is the STRONGEST for the title. He's up against Danni, his only real threat riding Michelins and all the new boys from 250 and Wsbk. I really would like to see Hayden as Champion again as he still has faith and never gives up hope. It was Hayden who kept a cool head at Vallencia '06 with points BEHIND Vale to take a great 3rd place and wear the crown.
His only threat is from Casey who looks like he's going to destroy everyone again judging by the testing times. I know tests don't win Championships but it looks too likely again this year.

Rossi concedes after worst run since 2000.
1 agrees.
Nigel, I think you will find that none other than Biaggi had a 2nd in '98 versus the Might of Doohan, HRC, Burgess and the best Michelin had to offer. You should talk to Zydon, he has been watching the game well for a long time and sees both sides of the story. Rossi hasn't won this year due to a technical package means "Casey isn't great, it's the bike!". Put the boot on the other foot and you can see why some see Vale's Championships ARE EXACTLY the same. His "Astro Turfo" NSR was as close to an HRC weapon as for some reason the Champ (A.Criville) just fell off during races and was diagnosed as suffering black outs during races! When Vale Came to the big league, he had it all. Cont.

Toseland seeking repeat.
1 agrees.
James certainly is the likely winner as he hasn't tried any silly moves taking him and fellow title hunters out of the running. Bayliss has fallen off
, Haga had some bad results with the help of No.3! and Max hasn't been as dominating as I was expecting. Lets hope for a good close fight elj666 this weekend as I need a good fix that the 125's delivered last week.

Toseland seeking repeat.

It's going to be another Dog fight weekend of racing. I want James to have a fight to the last round as this will cement his ability for a good benchmark of him/bike when he moves to the MotoGp Circus. On the other hand, I want Max, Haga AND Bayliss to push James to 4ths in the races. The three need each other to succeed and will have to "knife" each other at curtain fall in a four man deathmatch. Top.

Bullit, as your name states you are young and I will accept your behaviour. If you dont like my attitude then explain why. I'm educated and left the estates many moons ago where some peoples answer to something they dont like is "Funk you". Ignore me rather than throwing stones.

Elias gets d'Antin offer.
1 disagrees.
I thought that was a possible ride with the Alstare outfit if they decide not to compete in next years WsbK and that Elias was to be the chosen "one" rather than Biaggi if the switch happens? Has that all disappeared in smoke or was it just a headliner a few months ago? Tony to a winning manufacturer is tough. If it is Casey (I think it has to be) making the Duke work for him Tony could be left at the back of the pack from a Half decent Honda that produces suprise results or ANOTHER young and talented rider to make a three way assault for next year. We will have to wait and see if Vale supporters can back the claims of it's only the bike winning, not Stoner.

Rossi: We have two choices.
3 agree.
2 disagree.
How about all the knowledge Burgess knew about where to take the development of the Rcv211 he took to Yamaha and he and Vale turned it into a winner with a Yamaha badge? Has Burgess lost sight of where to take the Yamaha as all of his inside info from HRC has dried up? We didn't get to see what HRC have turned the Rcv212 into this season as Hayden and Danni both got taken down. But Nicky isn't allowed bad luck as he is just crap eh?

Natasha, he means the rule that Ducati can only win on a level playing field with a tyre he chose from the back of a van thursday afternoon. The other rule is that he isn't allowed to dress like a dork from the "Rocky horror picture show" and dance like a monkey in the gravel traps. I'm really disapointed that I haven't seen true "Party" finish
Remember kids, racing is about finishing first, NOT competing.

Hayden heats up with first front row.

It just shows that without the "treatment" from Michelin you WEREN'T going to win which makes nicky's Championship even more special.

Saran, is this the same Nicky Hayden who handed out a kicking to all the other Michelin shod grizzlers? Vale whining like a straight cut gearbox, and a tantrum I would slap my 2yr olds backside for with Danni failing to accept that Nicky the nobber rode a better race? As to the Kenny Roberts argument all this about Michelin and special tyres will maybe show you that after Kenny won 2000 season a certain Italian got the "treatment" from Michelin from then and ever since.... Only the wet riding of Sete got the Suzuki to the top step. Jesus, Criville had to put up with being second rider to Mick and when he got his chance in '99 suffered from blackouts that made him hang up his leathers.
