MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP test times - Monday 11pm

Hmm, I can not see Rossi finishing in the top 6 I'm afraid, there is total honda domination here. And as 1 poster put it Rossi is only around 0.300 from Lorenzo which I think is a good marker. As for comparing Rossi to Stoner on the Ducati, well they have completely differant riding styles, Stoner is a damn quick rider & is no where near as smooth as Rossi, & whilst Rossi is smoother he has to learn this bike. As some have mentioned on this forum, some of his fans may desert him, well his true fans won't, even if he finishes off the podium every race this year it wont bother me. Give him a fair chance and it will come good. I expected Lorenzo to be abit higher up than he is but it does go to show how good the Honda package is this year. Dani finaly could win a WC , let's face it those honda riders are sure gonna take points from each other, spies looking good too.

I think that we can see from the test's that at least in the early stages of the season we are looking at Honda doing very well, I think that Lorenzo & spies will mix it up abit but the Yamaha no longer has the title of the best bike. You only have to look at how all the Honda riders are performing & you can see that this bike must be good so credit due where it's due. Can the Yamaha's & Ducati catch up? Don't lose patience with Rossi, he will get the bike working how he wants it to but it will take time. Only 1 week left now before first race, I can't wait.

Yes it's looking like Honda has a good package, we will know more as time goes by. As for Rossi well it appears that he is constantly around the second to 1.5 sec from the top at the moment. From his comments about the bike & how he has to ride it I don't think that he will change anything yet to drasticaly change it. We may see some good improvements once we get going in the season. It may seem like it's a drastic amount of time to catch up to Casey & co but we all know what Rossi is capable of.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi opens up over key MotoGP rivals

Doctor Chocolate, I'm a Rossi fan, but I don't dislike many of the other riders, probrably just Lorenzo. However it seems to me that many fans that hate Valentino are obviously very jealous people, at least most of us rossi fans can bring ourselves to admitt that Stoner, lorenzo, & others are damn good riders. I don't think Rossi is a poor loser either, sure he does not like being beaten & he does like winning. For certain Rossi is going to be lucky if he get's a win in the first 3-4 races but the time will come when Rossi get's it all together & when he does there will be fire works.

MotoGP » Rossi: 2002 was biggest change

Iggyd, what aload of trash you talk. nebar1, now that is more like it, there is some on here who appreciates Rossi for what he is & has done. Before anyone says owt, even though I'm a Rossi fan & will not be deserting him, I do appreciate other riders. There is no denying that Casey looks unsoppable on the Honda, the others on the Honda look good 2. Lorenzo, well I'm sorry but I do not particulary like him, he's proven to be fast but if you want my honest opinion he's going to find it hard to defend his title, infact I think he may get a beating from Spies never mind other riders. I'm not convinced he is that good, it's easy to ride the best bike on the grid to the title, he's not got that luxury this year! Many of the Rossi haters, get your kick's in whilst you can, you won't be doing it for long as Rossi will be fighting for wins this year, many of you have been surprised by him in recent years, many of you may well be surprised again, I wont & fully expect grea

Yes I agree with last comment to a point, I do not agree that rossi was handed the best tyres all bike for that matter. The Honda RCV211V I believe it was, that was developed by Rossi, all tyres in those days was mainly bought in over night & each & every rider developed tyres, now your not telling Casey never had tyres dropped into to certain races by Bridgestone when they could, I know it was much harder for them being in Japan & Michelin in Europe was alot easier for them to bring in a newly developed tyre. And yes you can not knock any of the riders in the Motogp class, but there really is only 6 that are in with a shout, we all know who they are & Rossi will be there. Not long now I can't wait!

With Rossi being still not at 100% then there will be some time he will get back from that. As many of you on here know Rossi will develop the Ducati into his bike & the haters can put what ever spin on it that you want but it will happen, if it don't then so be it but I would be very surprised that by half way through the season we don't see this bike much easier to ride with Rossi's input. We see this crap posted on here nearly every year about Rossi being finished & Lorenzo, Stoner, this & that. To all you Rossi haters get & look back at the past 10 years, now the facts don't lie, the facts tells the true story. Let's see what happens a few months into the season before that we just don't know for sure what is going to happen.

I think this switch to Ducati is a more difficult switch. Rossi has said he needs to change his riding style to suit the Ducati, he has also stated that the bike has to be ridden with more aggresion, however this is not Rossi's way. He therefore needs to adapt the bike so he can ride it like he wants to, I don't understand that so many on here after 2 test's can be saying that Rossi can't ride the bike, correct me if I'm wrong but is the gap to Lorenzo & Rossi around 0.500 in the last test. I know it maybe 1.800 to casey but the Hondas have a decent edge at the moment & I don't see things quiet like many do on here. Cont..
